 Hiya DragonFablers!

You wanted more various threads of discussion about Classes and we listened! This week and every week following, we will be introducing a thread for every class in DragonFable.

This thread: All things Alexander Armor.
Now for the rules of this thread:

  • All =AE= Comprehensive Forum Rules apply.
  • The "All Classes" thread will remain pinned to the top of the forum until all the current class threads are released.
  • There will be a Class Directory stickied to the top of the forum once a few class threads are active for quick locating.
  • On suggestions: The DragonFable staff offer specialized suggestion threads from time to time and you may post your suggestions when those events occur.
  • Please keep discussions to the Alexander armor.
  • Most important: Have fun!

    		The armor was pretty standard and pretty weak but it was still fun to play the new quests and play with alexander. I also remember that there was supposed to be a reward that came with fishing the side quest that had the high level version of one of Alexander's fire weapon.

    		I absolutely loved playing as Xan's past self the back story, the look, ability to equip items, almost everything was great.
    Although the one thing that I didn't like was the limited skill set, but if it had a full skill set it would have been perfect.
    Ah well if every gem was perfect, they wouldn't be of any value.

    		 due the lack of a cryomancer, you guys were just COUNTING the days to make this thread in december, werenet you xD?

    Now, design-wise, I wont have much to say, it wasnt supposed to be a flashy design, but just a magician's apprentice, but I enjoyed how both Alexander and Warlic had similar robes, yet with slight personal touches that let some of their own personality visible. Alexander imediatly looked like a shy, sweet guy, while warlic had "jerk" written all over his face.

    Skill-wise, I really enjoy how, based in a single element, AE managed some very pleasurable skills, animation and strenght-wise, they were great, really. Pity we couldnt evolve it further, you should totally invest in a cryomancer class

    		This class bothered me. It wasn't very strong at all, and the lack of a full skill set led me to have very little motivation to train it to the level cap. It also made him seem like less of a complete character, more like a sketch of one.
    I thought it was a cool idea, but it could have been improved upon: more skills, higher power.

    		Welp, since I recently replayed the Alexander saga might as well post my comments on this. xD

    The class is fun, and it serves the purpose of what it is meant to for the Alexander storyline, ice magic, nothing fancy and it shows that Alex was a talented fire mage who forced himself to switch to an element I imagine he didn't have an easy time with due to it being the opposite element of his natural talent.

    It should really be changed to "Apprentice" or "Ice Mage" or something. Alexander: Human Alexander is a bit much. xD

    Frost-ra to victory! (I wonder where the "ra" comes from?)

    		@admahu: I've played a lot of FF so I feel really embarrassed now. xD I guess the "-" managed to throw me off.
