in all the classes on ed the question may or has come up why does the bh or ch classes block more then any other class in melee attacks. without relex boost

if any one could help out here plz post why you think they block more. when they have a 340 def and a 356 reist in case l am just using a random number.

always the syfy

 They don't though.

P.S.: Energy Shield doesn't affect blocks, never did...

 I don't want to go and test this to prove to everyone out there even though someone really should. It'd probably take over 100 PvP fights against someone to test that they don't, and then another 100 as a control for comparison.

They don't block as much. BH used to because of smoke but that was natural and supported by the formula and numbers. Also shadow arts with BH and CH. As of now they don't, and if you "feel" like they do then it's either because you're not estimating the numbers right or you're trusting too much in your feeling. If you go about and get a bunch of samples of like 25 fights and make a sample distribution, it'll be approximately normal.

it was just because any of them have ninja reflex core because it used to utilise well with shadow arts , but no they don't really block more.

ty just wondering in fighting a bh just seems 3 blocks in battle is a little much but ty for the reply people.

 No problem. If it happens once then that's understandable as there are always those extreme cases every so often, especially given your tens of thousand of battles that you've done.

I'd be pretty concerned if that was happening like 50% of your BH fights and you have focus build dex (which is typically around 80 or so) because that's telling me that there's possibly a discrepancy in block formulas, but from my recent battles the block system looks pretty normal to me.

 Wouldn't be surprised if the devs forgot to take out the shadow arts passive from the coding lol...

 It s just an impression.Bh s block because of their smoke, that if used correctly can get them very easely; and those abusive ch whitout dex blok anyhow due to their base chance + ninja reflex(min 6%)
