have you notice during battles the game talk when you block or deflect a attack either their melee, aux, or pistol attack and you have lets say a 310 defense an say a 325 resistance
funny you get a lot of ( omg, lucker, ---, 4 real, hacker, OMG, (ooommggg )
when they block or deflect your attack then they say nothing ( kinda funny ). funny now it seem what goes around comes around in epic battles or epic luck has found you 2 day, for battling on your side.

does this happen any one else or just me. ( it kinda tells me there age when they talk like that ) sad day when the game has gone to this kind of talking, in game battles sad day for ( epic duel )
l was told just un click chat log but guess what you can still read, it stills stays on the screen, for awhile before it goes away, maybe devs like asked before maybe now need the mute button. kinda runes the battle fights when they keep saying things every round like that, remb you still see and still read for more then 3 sec, on the screen.

always the syfy

Yup the general copy cat mage build always rages at me when I block with 50 more dex.


And the last sentence of your post.

Should be play till you rage quit for 6 months (5 minutes)

I am generally on the other side of luck, so i never face those kind of problems.

What i do find, are people mocking me for being blocked or losing to them.
Talk about bad sportsmanship...

 It is kind of a statement about humans in general. We tend to ignore the good and focus only on the bad.

So if you stun and the crit for a victory you won't notice it but if the same thing happens to you, and you have bad sportsmanship or just a bad day, you will point it out next time you see the person.


It's the whole psychology lesson on how if you shake 99 hands and then get slapped in the face you will remember the slap over the hand shakes

I get called a lucker all the time. Sounds like something Butters would say from SouthPark. Considering I have 111+ invested into defence, idk anyone bother get mad when i block them.

Yeah I had that problem a few times.

I was playing this one copy build tech mage who was level 40 with 10 ranks and I was a mere level 39. We went blow for blow, then his rage comes and he uses bludgeon. I block it and upon me getting that block he starts crying and complaining about the game being broken because I blocked. As a result of planning and a bit of luck I won against him.

Next match I have with him, I use bludgeon on him, and he blocks. Then I tell him see block can come and go, then he says "No that was suppose to happen because I had the block core on." He beats me then calls me a noob at the end of the duel.

Long story short I tend to run into many kids who are poor winners and sore losers.

I get really upset when ive spent the time to put 110 points in dex to get blocked twice by 40 dex 2 fights in a row.

yes they do talk a lot but after awhile it gets old. l do not care who you are it gets old. like players here who posted they might be kids and some might be teens it still matters to have good game play. yes this has been going on since ed started and the devs know about but nothing has been done about yet.

when l sit down to play a game on line l really do not want to have listen to player using this ( fk, wtf ) most of the time when you block them. l just want to play, an have fun not to have to listen by reading all the trash talk. ed is a clean game l hope it can be. l think the mute would help in game battles. yes you turn off chat log, but still it comes up and you see it and there is no way to get around it you see it for 1 second or 3 seconds , and sometimes they keep typing every round so you cannot get away from it.

seem funny when a mod plays this game players are very nice no trash talking, because the mod will ban them from chat. they say report them ( well been there, done that, got the t=shirt, and still nothing seems to happen )

i usually tend to make puns about it to reduce the stress after much blocks/deflections happen

I just say lol when something unexpected happens due to luck.

I have realized that whenever players call you "noob", "lucky noob" or anything of that sort; the best thing to do is agree with them. That seems to enrage most of the players who are trying to be rude/offend you.

After all, there are some sore losers out there - just don't let it get to you.
