 I have been talking to some players in game, a vast majority of the players in game, and the only reason that they continue playing is because of factions and it just seems like a smart idea to improve the faction window and give Factions more features. Personally I just play this game in between classes/homework to waste time, however I love this game and I am very disappointed with the lack of updates.

What do you guys think about the lack of updates? I understand that EpicDuel probably doesn't have a large enough staff to do updates every week, I understand that a lot of time is spent in order to deliver these updates every week but not every update has to be a big one.

After a few months on forums and posting suggestions about how to make EpicDuel a "community" game too after hearing "BRING OZ BACK" a million times, one phrase has always been repeated by people on forums. "Epicduel is a PVP". So, as a PVP, every update does not have to be a big one. Just minor things to enhance the PVP concept. Features such as:

-Faction Window Update
-Faction Shops
-New Cores
-Faction Kill-Board (Displays amount of wins your faction has)
-Faction Leaderboard(Displays kills and influence at your HQ's)
-Faction Level Cheevos
-Faction Co-Leader (his/her limits/powers are toggled by the leader)
etc,etc

The point that I am trying to make is that little updates like these have more effect on this game than some devs can even fathom and, with all due respect, if they played this game nearly as much as the average player or the hardcore players then they will understand how quickly this game will revamp itself. I dare you to input a feature where Leaders of factions can assign a co-leader and toggle their availability to kick/recruit members. I give it 2 weeks before every old faction is completely revamped and the competition in this game is brought back. I dare you to allow Factions, as a whole, to switch alignments. I give it two weeks before players in this war and every other war balance the alignments out by themselves. I dare you to give Factions awards/access to shops/cheevos for leveling up. I give it 2 weeks before each and every player goes into a faction.

Such small updates that have little to no impact on the "direction this game is trying to take" will have such a powerful impact on this game. With all due respect, Revntheus' Lion set looks cool, your next promo package will probably be cool too but I'd rather not buy it if it means that you're going to wait an extra month to give out another update. These are the type of updates we need. A promo package won't fix anything. They're cool, but they won't have any impact on factions, nor any impact on the war we are currently in therefore they will be rendered useless.

I think they should make a faction update and add more things to do in the game because epic duel is extremely repetitive and can get boring at times plus the new war in fortune is the exact same as the dread one just with battery drainers instead of bombs so i think they should make each war different in each region from the previous one.

1000% supported, THATS RIGHT, 1000% WASN'T A TYPO! Now like Tai Shiar ED (^^) said, this game is repetitive and can easily turn away new players from playing Epic Duel/ continue playing epicduel. To be COMPLETELY honest, if I just came to Epic Duel, i would quit INSTANTLY, but seriously, thats my opinion, and i'm sure many people would agree with me that this game doesn't really introduce anything new for players to do rather than the new war, correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think Epic Duel shows any way for new players to know what to do in this war. All new players have to do is PvP, and missions, and missions will eventually run out, so now what? What will the new players do? These new players have nothing to do because Epic Duel is only alive because of the war and factions.

I'm pretty sure EVERYONE in Epic Duel would rather have a release that actually brings out something rather than a promo package, because think about it. Only players that buy variums will be able to "participate," in this release, so pretty much people who wait all week for friday for a release will be bummed out. I rarely even right this much, I know its a little compared to most people, but for me, this is a lot, because i REALLY care about the future of Epic Duel, so yeah, those are my thoughts :).

 Exactly. I don't mean to put down the game however one of the main reasons why people are still playing Epicduel is because of the factions. So I don't see a reason as to why we are not getting Faction Updates. Promos are nice, don't get me wrong, but just like Sam Said "Only Varium players can participate". Release faction updates, I feel as if ED Developers can even release Promos that are beneficial to Factions, and we will still have fun. If factions are one of the main reasons why people are still playing ED then it is only right that we should get updates on it.
