@TFP I think this Supercharged debate is like the chicken or the egg, so I'll just stop talking about it.I don't know how it would have done, but it couldn't have been that bad. The real eye-opener is if Void Rebirth was released earlier, the Fire tourney would be a lot different if that was in play. It does make Energize harder to draw but I haven't faced any super-high level PvP(Both strategically and level-wise) so I think this character is a lot like Arcane Ranger in a way: It can be difficult to draw the right cards in the right order, but it you do and you play them well, then these two characters are very hard to deal with.

My CC consists of 3 515 defense cards, 1 life drain and 1 Void Reflection. I think Bjeble can tell you it is a pretty solid CC and works out fine if you know when to attack, defend and/or discard cards.

Yeah, the shields help balance out the high cost of LD and VR and it overall gives your CV a defensive deck. It doesn't lean on the Supercharged as much as my CV does but I also draw more attack cards so I usually out damage my opponents. Now out damaging Black Dragon or Volt Engineer might not be possible in some cases, so those types of duels are pretty much all luck.

I agree, the egg and SuperCharged came first.

The whole point of LD/VR is to balance out its low costs in the first place though.

@TFP Eh, the CC is more defenseive than making it cost more or less, but overall the deck does cost a little more than the original deck. My CC actually gives me another free attack, but I include a LD so I come out equal or less in cost. Sometimes if I'm PvPing the same person over and over again, I'll add in a different card in my CC to throw people off.

@Gorillo I don't even know, it's confusing even to look at . But from my experience of PvP over about 3 days, I can effectively say that Cyber Void is a pretty effective counter to playing Mana Guardian.

I understand that defensive CC's can help you stall until you can put a combo together and I could co-sign a single Void Reflection for that reason and its high energy cost to help convert Shadow energy, but to me the three 515 Defends are better off left out since they add three more cards that are incompatible with Surge, Energize, and SuperCharged with a low scale of energy conversion (it takes four Defends to match Void Reflection's cost) that opponents can easily break through, plus they make Energize harder to draw etc etc y'all already know. 515 Defends aren't Iron Hides, and because Cyber Void uses instant attacks that are less efficient than DoTs, its users should go all-out rather than letting the battle go on and risking falling behind in efficiency as opposing DoT's pile up.

Cyber Void with Void Reflection, Life Drain, and three 515 Defends CC'd is a lightning rod for DoT's. It might have worked in a duel between two Cyber Voids with BJEBLE's getting unlucky (I assume that's what you meant by your "I think Bjeble can tell you" spiel, but that alone doesn't validate its effectiveness. I should also bring up here that initiative is of vital importance in duels between characters reliant on direct damage, and that losing without it in such a battle would be absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and would be hard to avoid even with a better CC set and conscientious timing.

@TFP No I did not fight him with my Cyber Void because my CV was like level 9 at the time and I didn't use it. We both used a lot of characters, it was pretty much 50/50 between us wins wise.
EDIT: Got my CC cut down, now I draw Energize and Supercharged a lot more.

Ah, I see. Looking back I remember your having posted a series of duels with him and looked them up on your Twitter.

The two involving DeathGuard's Cyber Void are this one which you did lost, but only by 100 HP with what I think is fair to say is a slightly outmoded character at this point which you're probably aware of considering you have a Void Rebirth at your disposal.

The second fight is more relevant to the issue at hand, you won by 400 HP with Lich which is more or less what I'd expect given the vulnerability of DeathGuard's CC's to Lich's DoT's which otherwise would not have been as much of a problem as the fight wouldn't have dragged on.

Do you remember who had the initiative in those fights?

Cool.

Interesting, it's Energy-element. I still think "Frogzilla" would've sounded better but w/e. I wonder if Nulgath knew about it.

I'd rather we get characters from all AE games instead of just AQW we could even get AQ veterans to play OS.

Same, although it's understandable considering that AQW was the only other AE game Nulgath worked on until BattleGems. Hmm, maybe we'll get BattleGems characters. :P

Ah, that explains it. Nulgath did say he and Artix were working on another mobile game though, maybe stuff from there will crossover.
