Finally, my bio is here. I hope it is up to standards. Name: Reynard Naise Age: 38 Affiliation: Kingdom of Vorfather Appearance: Reynard is a middle-aged man who stands at a height of 6 feet. He has a tanned complexion and plain brown eyes that have nothing unusual about them. He has brown collar-length hair that he keeps loose. He has a handsome face with high-set cheekbones and a beak-shaped nose. A stubble on his chin is all the facial hair he has. He wears a couple of earrings on his right ear. Weighing a reasonable 78 kilos, Reynard has a balanced build with a well-toned torso on strongly-built legs. His build complements his fighting style that is a play between speed and endurance. Reynard wears a plain steel and cloth armor on the battlefield accompanied by a light steel helm which facilitates the maximum range of vision while ensuring protection from most blows. He further wears a thick fur overcoat on top of his armor as he is accustomed to the infamous Vorfatherian winters which can drive even the toughest men to shiver. Being a proficient archer, Reynard wears an oaken longbow fitted with a grip made out of a metal known as Devvokzae('k' being silent here) or Steelsway. This metal is extremely durable(and ductile) and ensures that the bow stays joint. Some parts of the bow are laced with this metal to avoid rotting due to moisture for when snow thaws over this weapon. The bowstring is made of polished Steelsway drawn into extreme fineness. A quiver further adorns Reynard's back. On his waist, Reynard wears his arming sword in its plain leather sheath for when things get too close for comfort. His skill with a blade is fairly average. History: Reynard has always been a very good leader and has on numerous occasions displayed his skills both as a general and a warrior on the battlefield. As a kid however, things weren't always looking up. He used be bullied quite frequently by bigger kids and even as a soldier in the Vorfatherian Legion, the seniors would gang up on him and threaten him. It was, however, his very skills that saved the Kingdom from falling to foreign hands when the rival Kingdom of Aneros hosted an invasion and broke through the gates of the capital city. Taking a handful of archers at his disposal, Reynard held back a secondary wave that had managed to discover a Postern Gate and had infiltrated the city deceiving its defenses. In the dead of the night, even as the city burnt at some parts, Vorfather stood, having survived a freak invasion. Having acknowledged Reynard's contribution to the Legion's success, the then king, Athur Vesfloren, bestowed upon him much praise and it was not long after that that this young man stood as the General of the Vorfatherian Legion. Having just captured a major Anerosian outpost, Reynard was informed of the situation at Gripclaw Pass and assembling his best men, he set out. Command: Reynard has at his disposal a fair few number of men. Firstly, his second-in-command, Trey Sverfost, an excellent swordsman accompanies him to Gripclaw Pass. His platoon of soldiers consists of 6 Personal Guards who are also the 6 best warriors of all. This team of 6 consists of 2 highly-skilled swordsmen, 2 stealth specialists who double up as scouts and 2 archers. Further, there are 20 more archers personally handpicked by Reynard himself followed by 15 of the better swordsmen personally mentored by Trey. Lastly, aiding this group are 4 of the best healers and 10 Horsemen who can fight using both swords and bows. Vorfather: Vorfather is a sprawling kingdom located towards the northern reaches right at the foot of mountains where the winter strikes the hardest. Vorfather has a two main routes entering into it from the south and one from the east following the slopes. With a lush forest surrounding it, which greatly boosts the status of the lumber industry and a multitude of iron and Steelsway mines surrounding it, Vorfather is one of the richer kingdoms of the continent with a better economic status than most others. Vorfather's citizens are heavily employed in the lumber and trading industry.
