I know you may think that this is a typical post about making something cheaper but I feel there is a big flaw with the pricing.

The reason is not that it is so expensive. However it is that fact that the price seems to serve the purpose of a money sink. However it can also be won in the arcade for free.

The purpose of money sink is to take some of the credits out of the game due to great influx via gift giving.

Now the problem is that the people who will have greatest influx of credits via gifts are also those who will get most arcade tokens via gifts. This defeats the purpose of the item being a money sink since those players who should be most affected by this money sink item are likely to be least affected. In another words the players who will get the most credits from the gifts are more likely to get the armor for free (due to more free tokens that comes with the gifts).

So in summary this armor is less of a credit sink for those getting the a lot of credits and a massive credit sink for those getting least gifts.

Furthermore when money sink possibilities were being discussed in the forums, as far as I can remember the consensus was that the money sink should not have influence in pvp. Since the purpose of the price of the armor being a money sink is clearly creating a greater gap between those benefiting most from the gifts and those benefiting least and the armor having influence in pvp; I would like to suggest that the price of obtaining the armor is brought down to that of similar armors to tackle this issue. Instead another upgradeable achievement can be added as a money-sink.

I hope this is a reasonable and valid suggestion.

Thanks.

Beaststyles.

The said poll was carried out by myself, not the ED Team. It wasn't done on behalf of the Team, but as a feedback for my own little projects - just like many previous polls.

Thought this could use clearing up, before it's used out of context.

Yes that's what I mean that it was the consensus of players. I did not relate it to you or the team :)

But thanks trans for clarifying further trans.

I'm wondering though, after all these giftings are over.
And like new players wanted to buy that armor, they will pay 250k credits for it.
