It was another quiet day/night at Vampire Castle in Darkovia. Solani quietly snuck out from a bedroom door, carrying her shoes. However, Enkara was standing there. She sighed and rolled her eyes. “Spending time with Ozora again, Your Highness? Shouldn’t you just let the man recover?” Solani blushed, and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “I am. I’m………making sure he still has strength.” Enkara smiles. “Whatever you say, Solani.Your break’s over. Time to start being a queen again. Come on, young lady. Darkovia’s ruler can’t play with her boyfriend forever……………” A few hours passed, with Solani granting audiences to different representatives from across Darkovia. To ease her mental stress, I eventually came and took a seat in the throne room. Then, after some time passes, a human came into the throne room. He was quite tall, had backwards-swept orange hair, and a soul patch. He made a quick bow. “Greetings, Your Highness. Address me simply as Andre. Forgive my expediency, but my business is with Mr Kogane.” “You are a rare human, strong enough in body and soul to command a spirit guide,” Andre started, “people like you are Lore’s entire future. And yet, you’re wasting your incredible life living with these filthy, sun-fearing vermin. Fear not, for I am your liberator.” I wasn’t about to let him talk about Solani like that. “What you are, friend, is a man who has no business in my life, a man who just insulted my lover and all my vampire friends, A MAN WHO, IF HE DON’T GET OUT OF THIS CASTLE RIGHT NOW, I WON’T THINK TWICE ABOUT PUTTING A BULLET IN HIS SKULL, AND FEEDING HIM TO THE DIRE WOLVES MYSELF!!!” Andre smirked. “So, I must use force, do I? So be it. GYRA!!!! TIME FOR BATTTLE!!!!!!!!!” The ceiling tore open, and a giant, floating, blue serpent-like dragon infiltrated the room. Gyra flew around the throne room, destroying things, and gouging people with its giant fangs. Solani tried to protect as many of her subjects as possible, destroying falling debris with her fire magic. Suddenly, with inhuman speed, Andre rushed over to Solani, and squeezed a broad hand around her throat. She tried using her fireballs to repel him, but they simply fizzled out. Andre grinned.. “My body contains several anti-magic machines. Your fire magic is useless on me. Let us see if Ozora’s mind changes if he loses you.” At that moment, my bullets tore into his back. “YOU LET HER GO, YOU SON OF A BRACKEN!!!!!” Andre looked at me, and tossed Solani at me, knocking us both over. “Gyra! Our message has been delivered! Let us depart!” Gyra took Andre on its back, and they flew off into the night sky. Everyone started tending to their own wounds, and everyone else’s. I got up, and helped Solani up. She pressed up against my chest, rubbing her bruised neck. “Ozora…….Was that a man, or a monster?” I put one arm around her, looked at my gun, then looked into the night. I was sure I shot him several times. Why didn’t he die?
