Noticed the Shadow Wolf (PowLvl 153) from the Conjure Shadow spell costs 112 MP to use whereas the new Mana Spirit (PowLvl 153) from AMR costs 114 MP. Shouldn't they be the same cost? Asking because Mana Spirit (at 114 MP) if he doesn't act (50% chance of bouncing), is a bit pricey even if he gets *2 damage (for the bounce thing). Thanks for checking.

Ally Assist baseline stats.

Assists are the same power as a spell. It has the same power level as you do (for Adventurers), or the same power level as your Guardian level (for Guardians). However, it doesn't use your stats - it uses your VStat for everything, which is:

It starts off as a spell:

SpellBase = (4/3)*(0.00375*PowLvl^2 + 0.5625*PowLvl +5.25)
SpellRand = 2*((0.0075*PowLvl^2 + 1.125*PowLvl + 10.5) - SpellBase)
SpellStat% = (200+13.2*PowLvl)%

The way the VStat thing works is that it's added onto the Assist's Base and Random. So:

AssistBase = 0.85*(SpellBase + SpellStat%*VStat/3/4)
AssistRand = 0.85*(SpellRand + SpellStat%*VStat/3/4)
AssistStat% = 0

The Assist auto-hits (which is why there's the 0.85 up there). It's treated as a type "other" attack, so it's not modified by ~anything.

Synaptic Shock

Standard Energy spell + standard Energy guest summon. MC is for compression of two spells, price is *2.2 for this, but halved to *1.1 due to promo item. Spell costs 0 MP to cast, when cast, brings up a menu for Synaptic Shock, Summon Energy Elemental, and Back. Hovering over the SS button shows the listed MP needed to cast, and casting will take the listed MP and a turn. Summoning the elemental works like normal summon spells, calls the MP cost guest if you don't currently have that one, desummons them if they're already out, doesn't cost a turn either way. Back just closes the menu and doesn't cost a turn. The spell is 5 hits of damage, evenly divided. Guest has a 4 hit attack and 2 hit attack, same damage on both, 50/50 chance to do either. Both spell and guest have no leans, either Base/Rand or BtH leans.

Monstercide Squad
Summon a motley crew to aid you, which can hit either with pure Darkness and or with a blend of Fire and Ice. While they're not as threatening as they look (you did beat them before), they still hit with extra power.


The "and" after Darkness appears to be a typo in the description.
