If you remember, were you satisfied or not? please share your thoughts.

And how do you feel after buying a package nowadays?

If I'm not mistaken, I was at the lvl cap and had been playing for a long time before I got my first 10K varium pack which had Frostbane. I remember my first battle and it was a win by 1 turn so I was very satisfied going from complete non-var to full varium gear with enhancement.

I've only been back playing for 3~ weeks after 6 years~ quitting so I haven't purchased varium for a very long time but I get the feeling I would not be satisfied but disappointed if I got one today. Guess we need to bring back P2W in some form.

 I remember it vividly. I still have a video of me with my first ever Varium weapon purchase, the Electro Axe" which is in my buy back shop, That's staying forever, holds some good memories. I was extremely happy when I bought it, as well as the Gamma Bot and Bike. It was honestly a mini Christmas for me then. It was 2011 (or at least that's the earliest the Portal site is showing.

I cannot remember the exact date, mind. I think I may have used Mjolnir a lot too as I was a Mercenary first. Then looking at all the nice items in the shops I had to cave in. It was the start of a long, but very pleasant journey to where I am today and have been with EpicDuel.

I don't think bringing back P2W is good at all.

The first promo I bought was the Azrael's one in 2013, best decision ever, I didn't know they'd be the most OP guns for at least the next 5 years.

I still bought promos after, but it wasn't the same. After getting the first promo it wasn't special after that. Getting the stun guns was cool, yea, but without any "cores" or anything to make them really special (7% stun is special but I mean eh), it's just another gun with a cool look.

If it had different stats like in previous phases, I think it'd be more special.

my first promo was the marauder bike it was pretty swaggy tbh... i got stun guns in omega but it wasnt the same it was just like swagg dudeee

Mine was the founder pack. I got the Founder armor and the beta weapons, which was pretty cool.

my first promo happened to be the one with the Azreal borg and the Azreal curse items back in 2012. back then I used to use the the former in almost every battle due to it not only being useful, but it being my favorite bot. Now however despite it still being my favorite it isn't nearly as useful anymore due the massive change in meta and that Azreal Aux ripping off it's special.

Boy, I feel so old thinking back on how those were brand new at the time and now we're in 2018


But for me it was in 2018, interestingly enough (having played since 2012, as a matter of fact), just because I wanted to get some of the Omega weapons and a class change ;)

 I remember that i bought varium to change class to Blood Mage, and to get a robot. But now i grinded credits to change back to tech mage. Just wasted money xd

I bought my first pack in 2017, I've been playing since 2009 (has it really been that long?). I bought the smallest pack for a name change.
