 is there a difference between defeating the unraveler or unraveler-ex when obtaining the wings of the unraveler?

and what strategy do need to do to defeat the unraveler? seems difficult at the moment.

EDIT: i am asking this because of the new update for the baby dragon. (kinda regret not getting the wings before the update to the baby dragon.)

The ex Unraveler does not drop the wings. It drops something needed for the hacked magi drone pet.
