I am trying to compare the damage of the different armor nukes and not sure how to go about it. The wiki entries give a value range for damage.

Do i find the average of the low and high values and multiple by hits; or do I add the low values together, high values together, and compare that range with another attack. And how do I multiply in the stats percentage? If one armor has 1151 stats per hit and another has 880 per hit how do I use that to modify the damage?

To compare damage values, one averages the damage range by adding half of Random to Base and halves stat damage from Mainstat/8 to put all stat damage to base, normally stats are distributed to 25% Base and 50% Random.

Most modern encyclopedia entries have an Analysis section at the bottom of the page which shows the standard values for that item's lv before being modified by splitting into damage per hit, BtH lean, penalties and etc. You can use that for comparison to see if it is stronger than another item at glance before the item's design flavor.

Thanks. So looking at the analysis section as an example, WHEEL and High Oracle Taladosian have the same skill (3 hits, same stats of 1110 , same bonus to hit) except Taladosian has a higher elemental compensation and thus would be more powerful.

You could also take a look at the Comparison Tools thread for any spreadsheet that other users made I suppose?

I put mine there and I think it's fairly intuitive to use, it should help you to some extent.

... Well, if you just want to compare 2 armor skills though, then looking at the elecomp of each is generally enough~

Thanks for your work Alice. Those sheet are really helpful. Must have taken a lot of work.
But yeah, I am just looking to compare armor nukes, basically is lightning imbue void vanquisher better than High oracle taladosian and stuff like that.
