Rarity scores should reflect how many unique, rare items you have. Removing duplicate scores last year was good. However, the varium factor (0.7 of the varium spent on buying the item is directly converted to rarity points) is still there and I don't think that's fair at all. Like duplicates, it defeats the purpose of the leaderboard because we can't actually see who has more rare items. Spending varium already has an advantage in rarity score since there are a decent number of varium-only rare items and varium is required to increase bank slots. These pay-to-win aspects are already reasonable in my opinion. There's no need to make varium spent literally count for rarity points. I think I might be first place on the leaderboard if the varium factor was removed, or at least much, much closer than I currently am. A side by side comparison of the inventories of the top 6 on the leaderboard shows very clearly that in terms of actual rare items in possession, I have the most or the second most, and that the varium factor has made the leaderboard very inaccurately reflect the number of rare items a player actually has. For perspective, I have never bought or upgraded a single rare weapon with varium unless it was sold for a varium price only or if it was a past promo pre-Omega. On another note, I think the points for different types of rarity could be revised. Items that are both Seasonal and Limited should have both a "Seasonal" and "Limited" tag instead of just "Limited" and should be worth 1650 points. Same with items that are both Rare and Limited. Also, I think Rare and Ultra-Rares should have their multiplier increased by 1 (1650 increased to 2200 and 2200 increased to 2750, respectively, maybe even 3300 for Ultra-Rares) because they are legitimately a lot more rare/exclusive than the other categories and I don't like the fact that Legendary and Rare items are currently worth the same amount considering Legendary items can be bought cheaply in the legendary shops whenever you feel like it. Another thing is that skill cores should count for rarity. I don't know why they don't already but they don't.
