This may sound out of place, but I remembered reading somewhere that suggests Lock and key is part of the Maleurous. Also, I just remembered that they took what looked like a thread of hair from the hero during the lucky day seasonal event. Does anyone else think this will come to play in the future?

Well officially it was never confirmed if Lock and Key is with the maleurous but here's some proof:
-What they did last Lucky day
-If you watch the cutscene after Sinnocence was defeated you see 2 maleurous members very closely to each other
-Remthalas mentioned 2 of his colleagues getting in our way
-Next year's Friday 13th is in March during the Lucky day event and we last saw Lock and Key during the last Lucky day event sooo......

Anyway i'm really interested what will they do with our DNA. Some kind of clone? And how many then? 1? 10? 100? More?!
Also i'm interested in Lock and Key's power. They stole our hair while standing right before us and after finishing they made us forget everything. So maybe they can also trick our minds like Remthalas just maybe on a next level?
Man i love this Maleurous storyline.

this pretty much confirms that Lock and Key are part of the Maleruous. They did appear first time after Calamity saga finale, where the Maleurous were released.

Oh there's a LOT more you can do with hair than cloning. In traditional occultism, a person's hair is often used to lay down devastating curses. Blood, hair, nails, teeth, bone, and in some traditions, names or images of a person can be used as a method of targeting a curse or hex. Many societies throughout history took special care to prevent such things from falling into the wrong hands at all costs. In short: Cloning is the GOOD option. The scary one is that they decide to go old school on us.

Not too sure what you mean about old school but that's actually an interesting look on this. I'm not that familiar with occultism but if its a curse, it would be interesting what it might be. Personally I don't think it's anything of a painful curse physically but it might be psychological considering what the hero fears. Cloning might be interesting, but who knows, if that's a soul thread it might be a Pandora created Aspar all over again, only this time we are Pandora and whatever in the future is Aspar
