January Golden Giftboxes:
This week we have some out of this world prizes coming to the Golden Giftboxes! The Switch Sabers have Melee/Ranged/Magic forms, plus open and closed modes with unique combat bonuses. Also don't miss the fully color-custom Battletorn Kallus Knight Player Face.

To go along with the Awe!!! equipment upgrade, we are also releasing Ultra!!! Guardian Armor and Shield upgrades!

The following crossover items will be leaving the Golden Giftboxes this week, and will not return until the next Thursday the 12th in December... in over 5 years!

 does this mean that we need to go to the gift boxes to get the awe armor upgrades (if there are any) or do we get the awe armor upgrades added to our characters without opening giftboxes.? i have had pretty bad rng opening the boxes even when they were 1000 tokens for 10 a month or two ago. as i got very lucky and got the other !!! upgrades during so.

hopefully they can get added to our characters.

also will we be getting the January spirit item this month?

 too bad you can't merge the no drops of each set together and have it be changeable though a screen (in battle or options)when selected currently. would be nice to have adventurer gear, guardian gear, ultra guardian gear, and awe gear together in their own sets. a gamer can dream.

Which does more damage of new switch sabres and zealot's wrath for light?

I'm guessing the damage mode of these new switch sabers has the standard +5% damage MC effect. Zealot's Wrath is stronger but causes you to take more damage (which is of course irrelevant if the opponent doesn't get a chance to move).

Here are the info subs Kamui posted about these switch sabers, which means that Zealot's Wrath is far superior.

Unless you are a huge fan of these sabres with plenty of UR to spare, don't bother wasting your UR on these weapons.

 We will bring back the Hairmuffs along with other rewards in the LTS for the May the 4th/Cinco de Mayo super celebration!

The Ultra!!! Guardian Armors and Shield have arrived! You will need to get an Armor of Awe by speaking privately with Valencia, upgrade it to an Armor of Awe!!! through the Golden Giftboxes, and then swap for an Ultra!!! Guardian Armor in the Guardian Tower - same for the Shield. If you already own the Awe!!! upgrade you will not need to unlock a separate upgrade to use the Ultra!!! Guardian gear.

You will need to have the original Ultra Guardian gear unlocked by completing the Anti-Guardian quest in the Guardian Tower first.

 Nice! Out of curiosity, are there any differences between the new Awe!!! armor and the old Awe armor? Also, the Awe weapons have been changed and the default lean now has a random element instead of locked to earth - is this intentional?

Hollow, can we get Main -26% at the cost some of 2nd/3rd Resistances for the Shield of Awe!!! Lvl 150?

It should focus more on Main Resistance. The 2nd & 3rd resistances don't really matter/help.

Currently, Main -25%, 2nd -12%, 3rd -12%

 Also, the temporary version of Ultra!!!Guardian Shield has -14% to all stats. The permanent version has -13% to all stats and regens less SP (like the old ultra shield)

Will there be a way to convert GGB into awesome one? I have a bunch of ultra rare GGB but no tokens to buy anymore.
And what is difference between the base armor of awe and the armor of awe!!!

 i might be waiting until the 1/2 price golden gift box sale to get the !!!awe armor upgrade for some of my characters. got the other upgrades though.

edit i switched my no drops on 2 of my characters to the ultra guardian armors and i can not access the awe upgrade even when i switch my drops on them to the awe armor temporarily

plus i got really lucky and got the awe upgrade on 3 of my characters

edit i really love the element shift on the unaligned weapons of awe. if only they could shift like that when aligned or similarly like that.

edit or maybe at least make it toggle able (if possible) of and sorry for all the edits

 I feel like I already had opened and saved some Awe giftboxes before, but don't see any now. But I'm not sure. Did anyone else lose their previous Awe giftboxes?

 I cannot change into UltraGuardian robes!!! from Insightful armor of Awe!!!.
I cannot change into UltraGuardian shield!!! from Shield of Awe!!!.

I am having the same issue. I had the armor of awe!!! and switched to ultraguardian, it let me switch to ultraguardian but not ultraguardian!!! I originally had the ultraguardian robes and the upgrade said it required Awe so I switched, upgraded, and attempted to switch back.

I'm having a similar issue. I wasn't paying attention and accidentally swapped my Armor of Awe for a normal Guardian Leathers, thinking it was the UltraGuardian leathers, and now I'm permanently stuck with the normal Guardian leathers because the Armor of Awe quest won't recognize my Blade of Awe!!!/Shield of Awe!! combination for whatever reason.

Me as well.

The error that pops up is: "Error: cannot convert AOA210 to contest ID"
It happens when you accidently change to regular guardian equipment.

The new ultra guardian!!! seems to work so far.

Just checking, the main difference with the new Ultra!!! armor is a swap to FO lean instead of MO lean, correct?
