So, just wondering how this little sheepy compares to other available Earth pets. Off the top of my head I hear a lot about Eye Spy, and the newish Gym Rat seems interesting.

I would consider Woolzard to be better than those 2, and comparable to Fu Dog.

Gym Rat spends 38.93*1.4*.85*.5*95/85 = 25.888% melee to inflict a one turn Daze.
Woolzard spends 100*1.4*.85*.428*70/85 = 41.944% melee to inflict a two turn Sleep, which if halved means 20.972% melee per turn of Sleep, its weaker than Gym Rat's 25.888% melee per turn.
