So would a Beastmaster get more out of the Sol Neko shield or the new Mutant Egg shield? Both effects are improved by CHA, but I'm thinking that FO Beastmasters might prefer the Sol due to reducing damage by a percentage.

Mutant Egg shield doesn't really have anything to do with Cha. The pet does, but not the shield.

So yeah, Sol Neko or Golem Guard are better options for FO.

Ah, my apologies. Not sure where I got that idea from then. I might have been looking at the other Egg equipment and gotten mixed up.
