@moe The Render is pretty decent because of its compression value. It's a higher level than the HSVV, but it also has a +10% accuracy lean and a 20% rate special, so I think its use will mainly depend on whether or not you need to deal Harm damage and your armor lean. The Charge is pretty darn great if you have something to stack Panic, but is mainly not so useful for warriors as much as hybrids.

Anyone knows how to best stack panic? I heard that werepyre could do a good job but my char is neko so unless absolutely necessary, I would like to know an alternative

The only ways to stack Panic right now(that I know of) without werepyre are spells. One is Seeing Red, and is in the spell scroll quest, the other is Jaania's Orb of Power, and is in the Common Golden Giftboxes.

Have all the recent war Secret Missions been the aim and shoot mini games? Are you telling me I could have been building momentum this fast for a while? D:

I cannot recall a war that didn't have the secret mission to build momentum. Normally, I do it 2-3 times to get around 30 momentum and then start the grind.

I suppose you could do it more to be faster from the gate but I don't have that type of patience.

I know some wars have Secret Missiosn that are just a wave of 8 monsters with a Treasure Hoard at the end.

I'll definitely have to do that from now on. Getting the 13 momentum through one round was about as fast as 3 or 4 battles so I guess it's more efficient!


Also, just beat the boss but cheated by using Artix Assist because I was lazy lol

I know the target practice has been around for a long time. I remember something similar during Carnax, but I know the Drakel War had it.

It has good points and bad. For Characters like mine who haven't hit the level cap, it's great. 8 times through and I've not only max momentum, but 8 kills to boot. For max lvl Chars, well they get screwed by the daily gold cap because that treasure chest is very generous. Gives it balance though, since max lvl Chars can destroy mobs faster

Keep in mind you're getting 13 momentum per round (if the format is still the same) so although it's a lot of Gold, you're also skipping fighting 26 monsters for 1 treasure hoard.

I... didn't realize the momentum counter is still in effect for the Boss run. That would have saved me SO MUCH TIME.

In terms of weapons that can inflict panic, there is both the Cataclysmic Crossbow From Adder's, as well as Katar of Undeath from the Neko Armory mission, the one with Ryn. other than that, pretty much spells and Werepyre.

Edit: there is also the rare Grim Scythe, Tenebromancer's robes, from the wizard trainer, and the Autumn form of the Timeslayer Axe.
