First rule of boost items: items boosting the same thing (XP, CP, gold, rep, universal damage boosts, racial damage boosts) do not stack with each other, so equipping let's say 2 pieces of the Awe Set (which btw there's also Awethur's Accouterments, bought in the "Awe-some gear shop" once completing Blade of Awe which also gives the same boosts as the 3 other Awe pieces), then only 1 of them will take effect. Second rule: the last piece equipped for each type of boost is what takes effect, so if you were to equip a +25% XP boost item and then another item with 15%, then the 15% one will overwrite he 25% one, and vice versa. Logging out and back in with multiple boost items equipped should automatically apply the highest ones. Third rule: Having multiple items with the same boost on and unequipping one of them (even if it isn't the one with it's boosts currently active) will remove all the boosts which the item uneqiupped was boosting. Let's say you equip an Awe piece and another item with some XP boost and unequip the other item only boosting XP, then your CP, gold and rep will still be boosted by Awe, but the XP boost will be gone, until another item with that kind of boost is equipped. In the case of partial boost overwriting like the example you gave, then only the boosts which are applied by the newly equipped item will be overwritten. This means that if you use an Awe piece and then afterwards equip an item with only XP boost, then the XP part of Awe will be overwritten, but not the CP, gold or rep portion. In the example given, you would end up with 15% XP gain and 25% CP, gold and rep gain. The max possible boost to XP, CP, rep and gold you can get from items only is therefore 1 piece of Awe Set/Achfiend Doomlord/Light and Dark Mage (the items from the 7 year loyalty Badge in the Book of Lore). Note that while item boosts wont stack, they DO stack multiplicatively with both server boosts and temporary boosts, meaning you can get x2.5 gains without server boosts and upwards of x5 gains while a server boost is active. Theoretically also even more than that, but double server boost is the standard and only a handful of times has a server boost been greater than x2, allowing you to surpass the x5 boost. Same rules apply to damage boosts. 2 items with the same racial boost or with universal damage boost do not add up, but a racial + universal boost can be used in conjunction and adds up multiplicatively. For example if you equipped Blinding Light of Destiny with it's +75% to undeads and non weapon piece with 15% universal damage boost (like the Archfiend Doomlord pieces), then you would do: 1.75 x 1.15 = 2.0125 or just over twice the normal damage, while fighting undeads.
