Probably not the most accurate title, but it sounds better than Something's Watching.

Chapter XVIII: Chameleon is up marking the second chapter in the Betrubung Swamp arc.

Hadn't actually considered making a fullblown arc of sorts having started with two names and then just kind of making things up as I went along.

Chapter XXIII: Rain of Mourning is up much later than I intended, but that's just life.

This chapter also serves as a pseudo-backdoor introduction for the lead character of "The Darkness Is My Lantern" whenever I get to that one. Probably after "The Wilting Rose" depending on how in-game events go.

Chapter XXV: Waking Dreams is finally up.

On a related topic, depending on how the main storyline goes in Dragonfable, I may be able to weave "The Wilting Rose" in considering how much of it kind of impacts "The Hunter" and will continue to do so in the future.

Chapter XXVIII: Wandering Under the Moonlight is up after a really long time.

Had to go back a couple chapters and make a couple alterations because I'm bad at geography. Nothing narrative changing and not even the first time this has happened with these stories.

After much, much delay Interlude III: Survival Instinct and Chapter XXXI: Hidden Sadness are up.

Will I do better next time? Will I get caught up on Dragonfable to hopefully resume "The Wilting Rose?" I cannot answer either of these questions.

Chapter XXXIII: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake is up after once again, two months.

Not a habit I want to fall into, but between real life and just not being one hundred percent certain on how to take things in the direction I want to go, possibly due to overthinking, I just can't commit to a proper schedule.

At approaching if not at seven years, it seems almost like I'm obligated to do so, but I appreciate the sentiment none the less.

Anywho, Chapter XXXIV: This World of Sorrow is up and didn't take months to do so.

Chapter XXXV: Don't Look Back is up.

Finally caught up on the main story for DragonFable and I think my best approach for "The Wilting Rose" is to rewrite some things to expunge any mention of current events and push the story back to prior to that. So post-Espina Rosa, pre-Rift and Greenguard Alliance.

Following those revisions I said I'd make and holy did my horrible excuse for formatting make that difficult, first new entry of "The Wilting Rose" is up after a long time.

Probably gonna put more stock in it due to the hiatus I guess it could be called, but I'll still be working on "The Hunter."
