What are some of the best or, recommended anti or "trigger" weapons, misc, etc. I know that there is a guide, but it seems to be out of date.

I guess the most common monsters, dragons, undead, werewolves and vampires, etc. Though if there are any must have or recommended that would be fine. Or, anything recent, within the last year or two. I am not looking for a complete list, just what is useful, and what could be useful.

There is not really any trigger item that is a must-have. Triggers are often not that good considering you only get the effect a small amount of the time.
The most common trigger type would be Undead.

Some good Undead trigger stuff:
Doom Knight Blade
Paladin
Zombie Hunter
Sacred Paladin weapons

Dragons:
Dragonslayer Aura
Dragonblade

As stated, generally 'anti' are perhaps best left in storage in favor of other options. If you plan to face a lot of a certain type of enemy, such as one of the Dragonspine quests, then by all means bring the dragon weapons. In other cases you're likely better off with other options.

I think, the most recommended "anti" or "trigger" misc against Demon is the Lohkaista Shard for defensive purpose.

quote:

Lohkaista Shard

«Neutral misc. Triggers against Demons.»

Location: AntiGuardian Returns!
Element: Neutral
Type | Z	| G	G
Level	5	25	45	65	85	105	125	| 138	| 82	145
PowLvl	5	25	45	65	85	105	125	| 148	| 85	148
EFFECT
  • Against Demons, it reduces all resistances, and increases BTH by the listed amount.
Magic weapons get *4/3 of the BTH boost and spell get *1/2.
Bonus to saving throws against statuses is increased by +5.
    BTH	+1	+4	+5	+6	+6	+7	+8	| +8	| +6	+8

    Ele	-2	-4	-6	-7	-8	-8	-8	| -9	| -8	-9

    SPCost	10	22	31	37	41	42	43	| 46	| 40	47

  • Against anything else, the misc does nothing*. (it still costs SP)

*Your opponent isn't very demonic. (Its fashion sense doesn't count.) This item won't do much against it.

  • To make it more useful, you have to combinate it with Demomorphosis.

    quote:

    Demomorphosis

«Accurate Darkness spell that can tag a monster as demon. Mastercraft; takes a smaller damage penalty for the effect.»

Location: Golden Giftboxes - Rare Shop
    Element: Darkness
    Type G
    Level	5	15	35	55	75	95	115	135	150
    PowLvl	5 MC	15 MC	35 MC	55 MC	75 MC	95 MC	115 MC	135 MC	153 MC

    MPCost	50	76	134	201	277	362	456	559	653
    Hits: 1
    Type: Magic
    Element: Darkness
    Damage	4-13	8-22	15-44	24-71	35-103	47-139	60-179	75-224	90-269
    Stat%	66.6	99.7	165.8	232	298.1	364.3	430.4	496.5	556.1
    BTH	11	13	18	23	28	33	38	43	48
    EFFECT
If spell hit connects and deals >0 damage, then your opponent makes two saves at a -20 penalty:
      Level: PowLvl vs MonsterLvl
      Major: YourINT vs MonsterEND
      Minor: YourLUK vs MonsterLUK
If the monster fails both saves, the monster becomes a demon*. Otherwise, the monster resists** the spell.

**Your opponent screams as your spell turns them into a demoin!
    **Your opponent resists your spell!

Deals -44% damage to pay for the effect. Gains +10 BTH and deals *85/95 damage.

So, on all battles, not depending on a quest, a monster can be tagged as a Demon as needed. At level 150,
    you'll have 4% on all 8 standard elements when using it [-9% + ( armor 39% + shield -26% of each element ) ].
