Welcome back! Weapons Energy is a fairly good no-drop element, at least until you get the appropriate Bloodblade/Bloodzerker blade. It might be a good idea to align your Awe special to PWD for a 3% chance of insta-kill. By far the best spellcasting weapon is Arcane Cutlass of Combustion, giving all your fire spells +28% damage, but it's a UR. Next up are the Blazing Bloodzerker Blade (Rare GGB) and Pyromancer's Bloodblade (coming to the Void in ~2 months), which pay hp for a boost to your weapon attacks and fire spells. Until you can get one of those three weapons, just use Sila's Staff for a damage bonus to your D-Burst spell. Keep the Kindred sword for water - autohit grants some really nice utility. Arcane Cutlass of Gales is a wind clone of the Combustion Cutlass. Best wind element weapon, but UR. As a distant second, Kazemai Athame gives an accuracy boost to your wind spells. Arctic Athame remains the best spellbooster for ice. Terra Bloodzerker blade gives an hp-costing damage boost to your weapon attacks and earth spells. If you don't have a spare Rare GGB, you can choose between Arcane Troll Club (toggle to increase weapon damage at expense of accuracy) and Mutant King Club (compresses an elelocked earth armor with a skill). Light has both an Arcane Cutlass and a Bloodblade. If you don't have either a Rare or Ultrarare GGBs, Occult Morningstar Cross compresses a weapon skill that pairs nicely with Vamp's Evolved form. Blackbones boosts the damage of your D-Burst. Armors I would suggest switching your no-drop to insightful armor of Awe - you're not likely to use the armor much anyway, but the qc mana shield can occasionally be useful. The best mage armors would be Bloodmages - 50% extra spell damage for an hp cost and a compressed spell with a high elecomp. Pyromancer comes to the Void in ~2 months, and Hydromancer, Cryomancer, Dynamancer and Lumenomancer are in UR GGBs. Until you get enough URs, your Torontosaurus, WHEEL, Horo Show, Taladosian and Paladin are powerful f2p alternatives. For the time being, I suggest using your Vamp no-drop as your wind armor, as Warmaster's Burst already gives you a wind nuke. Alternatively, you can either wait until Grenwog for Tyranochicken Rex Rider or get Grenwog Rider from URs, as both have spell-type wind skills. Terra Bloodzerker is the best available earth armor, with an hp-costing damage bonus to weapon attacks and a 2x damage elelock toggle. It is a UR, though. If you don't have one to spare, either Mutant King Form (from the Mutant King Club) or Cthonian Count (alt-element vampire) are good enough options. For your last slot, you can choose between Wizard Robes (nuking), Whispering Raimnet (initiative) or War's Legacy for a skill that follows the element of your weapon. Shields Avenger's Bulwark slowly charges up a free EleShield. Celtic Wheel remains the best option for nuke mages. Fujin shield has a Dex drive for bonus accuracy. Pies has a Cha drive to enhance your pets/guests. Golem Guard remains an ok option for earth. Scarab Shell has a toggle to lower monster MRM, increasing the accuracy of all your attacks and spells. Lantern of Souls has a small chance to autoblock any hit. Spells For the most part, you're ok here. As far as pure damage goes, Evolved Vamp + earth weapon does well enough. I would suggest switching Gravity Crush with Sizzler 'Splosion (autohits with a damage penalty) or even Knife to Meat You (qc, 1/battle, comes back at Mogloween). You'll also want to make a spot for the Summon Poelala spell, as the guest gives a noticable boost to the damage of your magic attacks and spells. Until you can spare a UR, Essence of Carnage (Defiant mode) regenerates your mp based on damage dealt with weapon-based attacks and skills (not spells or spell-type skills!) and slowly gathers charges to boost your next spell. Pets As a nuke mage, the Poelala pet is by far the best option available. Like the guest, it does no damage, but boosts the damage of your magicall attacks and spells. Here are a few alternatives if you can't spare a UR: - Underwyrmling toggles to harm monster sp. - Kindred's Tranquility gathers charges for your Kindred sword. Even at 0 Cha, you should gain enough to autohit every turn. - Frost Effigy can Freeze the monster, leaving it vulnerable to Torontosaurus skill and D-Burst. - Woolzard is a great pet that toggles between making the monster fall Asleep and inflicting earth EleVuln, and can even enhance the effects for an sp cost. Unfortunately, it'll be 3-4 months until it returns to the Void. Until then, Morningstar pet can randomly inflict EleVuln or DefLoss, increasing the damage or accuracy of your attacks. - Fairy Godmother can restore mp. - Model 294 toggles to inflict EleVuln - great synergy with D-Burst. Miscs Essence Orb remains essential (pun intended) and SFP is still one of the best meta enablers. Either Irt of Osiris or Murderator Gautlet work nicely for damage - though there's no real need to keep both of them. Rejuvenating Necklace gives mp based on damage dealt. Goggernaut Helm gives +10 bth to every attack on the field, without the usual /2 for spells. Grakma Warhorn's Berserk gives a notable damage bonus (not /2 for spells, making it the strongest spell booster), but at the expense of accuracy. Taladosian Pendant gives +10 mental potence, increasing your chances of inflicting Vamp's qc Mesmerize. And don't forget to pick up Love Potion at Snugglefest for even more qc control! Hope the info's useful and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
