Hey there, heroes!

For this month's Arena Challenge, another new board has appeared at the Arena at the Edge of Time! The Change of Heart board is here, featuring those who you may have interacted with who have changed allegiance... for or against you!



This time, take on the Balefule Brothers of Apsaydaaun, Al'nold, Akaz, and Majji! Defeating them individually may not be the most difficult challenge, but you'll have to take on all three at once in order to earn and unlock the Candylord customization option for the Evolved Pumpkinlord class!

If you think you have what it takes, click on the portal above Falconreach to head over to the Inn at the Edge of Time and test your skill!
Also, this month's Dragon Coin special has arrived! The Turdraken Wyvernling pet has arrived from regions unknown, and it can be yours for 500 Dragon Coins!

The Turdraken Wyvernling applies a strong DoT effect whenever it attacks, and its damage scales with your level!



If you're interested, pick it up from the Book of Lore before it flies away!

Still trying to figure out how to beat the 3 of them together, but individually they're not that bad. Managed to beat each with Chaosweaver and guests.

Anyone beaten it yet?

 How is the new pet compared to other pets such as Pet Dragon and is it worth the 500 DC investment

I beat the trio with Doomknight but it took forever. I only brought 2 mana potions so I ran out of MP. As a result, Akaz took so long that I actually used Inner Darkness twice in one battle.

Focus on Majji>Al'nold>Akaz. Use Dark Ritual on Akaz first since he doesn't do that much damage. The burst down Majji fast with Inner Darkness. Use baby dragon's shield on the second turn so you avoid Majji's -all attack.

With Akaz, stun him to increase the number of turn you have between heals. And use Drain Essence before he heals. Maybe get some more MP potions, but if you land the stun and rolls some crits you probably won't need them.

Other than this, I'm not sure what to say. Switch to fully offensive gear when facing Akaz since he doesn't do that much damage.

I did it with archivist, focused on Majji first then Al'nold then Akaz. Standard archivist rotation but you wanna use baby dragon shield on turn 2 to avoid his all resist down attack, then burst him down. Use Celestia's Sorrow when you hit about half hp though. It's pretty easy after that, just watch your mana. I used blade of awe cause archivist has a lot of hits but you could stock up on potions.

I overall like this release! It's cool that they're all relatively simple on their own, but basically have a party comp that makes the trio more interesting as a fight. It's also nice to see that we're getting some cosmetic changes for classes after IE. Really can't wait to see what the future holds.

@Katsushika Hokusai and Kurtz96: Thanks for the tips! Unfortunately, my dragon is barely trained, so it might take a while to get the shield skill I need for him!

I'm guessing that guest shields wouldn't work?

Guests might work, I have not tried them. They might help by having Majji attack one of them instead of you. However, the enemies will do more damage.

Keep in mind that guest shields are usually weaker than baby dragon (200) and my not provide full protection.

The best starved dragon class I found was BSW, since it can burst Majji in 6 turns while shielding the nukes and -all, and then use its high burst against both Al'nold and Akaz. Here's a video of such a run. Without a shield from Pet Dragon, I found that Techno and Ranger can't avoid all the -alls and so you run into stun or nuke rng.

Doomknight is great, of course. Just Inner Majji to kill him fast, use blood rite and shape darkness to ignore Al'nold's shields, and then Spikes > Favor > Spikes to kill Akaz from 6-7k.

Finished the trio with Epoch, it was relatively easy,but yenno, it's Epoch lol. Anyway, anybody have any idea on how to get the candy lord customization? I'm stumped as to how to get it to appear.
