Hydro variant is hands down better than WHEEL. If you have it, use it. Flame Guardian's skill does deal more damage than Torontosaurus, but it's a spell-type skill - DL weapons won't restore any sp with it. If you do place damage above all, War's Legacy would be even better than FGDF. I see, so that's what Torontosaurus is for. I guess I'll swap it out. quote:
Kindred is a class of its own. First of all, the skill requires charging - it's great against op bosses, but using it as a water nuke will take a lot longer than WHEEL or Dragon Form. Secondly, Cray has stated that the armor is slated for a serious nerf. Not sure when, but it's worth noting. I'll use HGDF over Kindred then. quote:
If you make your no-drop fire, you'll need to either remove paladin from your inventory or run a subpar compression armor to fit all the elements. Not sure it's the best option. If you dislike Dreamweaver shield, you can use Agony's Blood for dodging or Avenger's Bulwark for a chargable EleShield. I think I have enough armor slots to fit Paladin even if my no-drop is Fire. The Werewolf Transformation doesn't take up a slot, so I have space for the other 7 armors quote:
It depends, I guess. Generally, FO battles take only a few turns, so the shield doesn't really have the time to charge up. Still, if you think Essence Orb, Purple Rain and DL weapons don't provide enough sp, sure, go for it. You can also use Celtic Wheel (with an Int misc, gives enough mp for Moonwalker's Grace) or Palette Protector for a minor dodge boost. And maybe I should give Figurehead a try. I can't really charge up the Kindred like you said Oh btw where can I find Figurehead? I couldn't find it in TLAPD Nevermind, I clicked the map
