Let's see how I can help. First of all, I should mention that FO mages typically use Vampire subrace. A qc stun, Int drive and a fairly cheap Evolved Form make it much more useful than Neko. Weapons Given the sheer amount of nice light weapons that we've got, I would suggest switching your no-drop element to something else, like Wind. Blazing Bloodzerker sword in your vault is the best weapon for fire until you get a spare UR for Arcane Cutlass of Combustion. The Kindred sword gathers charges for an autohit. Alternatively, Tsunami Pen boosts your water spells, giving nice synergy with Hydromancer Bloodmage. Mystic Blade of Frostval Past (in your Vault) can inflict qc EleVuln, giving it unmatched synergy with any ice nuke you use. Terra Bloodzerker sword (in your Vault) is the strongest earth weapon in the game. Keep Dynamancer's Bloodblade, as it remains the best option for energy. When you get a spare UR, you'll want to pick up Arcane Cutlass of Radiance. Until then, Lumenomancer's Bloodblade boosts both your weapon attacks and light spells. There are several contenders for the best darkness weapon. Infinita Staff and Eclipsed Dragonlord's Insight restore mp. Your Voidsplinter compresses Harm. Blackbones give extra damage to D-Burst spell. Armors Pyromancer Bloodmage is by far the strongest fire armor. Until Caecus returns to the Void, though, your Samukematsuri Samurai gives you a reasonably cheap fire nuke with a good enough ice resistance. Hydromancer Bloodmage still has the strongest water nuke. Vampire's no-drop subrace armor has a good enough secondary that you do not need another wind armor. Cryomancer Bloodmage (your Vault) has the strongest ice nuke. Terra Bloodzerker is the strongest earth armor, but it's a UR. Until you have one, Cthonian Count (Vamp earth variant) or your Hunter armor are the best choices available. Dynamancer Bloodmage has the strongest energy spell, but is, once again, a UR. Taladosian Robes are your next best shot. Paladin is the first (and only) endgame class, complete with a full 20 skills. It has healing, ressurection, a light booster guest, several useful bonuses against Undead and one of the strongest light nukes in the game (Inner Light > Overwhelming Light). I highly recommend it for any dedicated AQ player. Brilhado Necromancer Robes would provide a noticable damage boost to the D-Burst spell. Alternatively, Angel of Souls has a weapon-based darkness skill that costs hp instead of sp or mp. Shields Dreamweaver's Contempt (Today's Event > Frostval: Delivery War) has a 1/battle qc skill that pays sp to reduce fire damage you take and restore mp for 3 rounds. Alternatively, Samukematsuri Buckler (your Vault) restores a bit of sp each time you're hit. Celtic Wheel's Int drive makes it by far the best choice for FO mages. Pies has a Cha drive, which boosts your damage by enhancing the booster pet and guest. Golem Guard has a small damage reduction toggle. At Harvest Fest you can get Serenia's Guard, which heals a bit of mp each time you're hit. Pixel Guard (your Vault) is a -26 shield with a small chance to Blind the monster. Scarab Shell has a toggle to lower monster MRM, increasing the accuracy of all your attacks and spells. Haunted Dragonlord's Will has a qc Barrier skill that has great synergy with Purple Rain and Gandolphin. Spells Your armor nukes, as a rule, will be stronger than any generic spell. As such, there are only a few damage spells worth looking at: - Destruction Burst and Warmaster's Burst deal +50% damage for an hp cost, giving you nukes for wind and darkness elements. - Spectral Chains (in your Vault) are a qc ice damage spell - great synergy with Bloodmages and Blade of Frostval Past. There's also Knife to Meat You (earth qc damage spell),but it only returns at Mogloween. - Sizzler 'Splosion sacrifices some damage, but autohits - useful against high MRM wind mobs. - Archmage Research or Runic Binding give you a Harm nuke. Summon Poelala is a generic booster. Essence of Carnage restores mp on non-spell attacks based on the damage you deal. URs also hold specific booster guests for fire, ice, energy and darkness - they give a larger boost than Poelala, but only for their specific element. Gandolphin gives you a qc Mana Shield. With Generalist Robes (Imbue toggled on) or Evolved Vamp and DL's Will, it has ridiculous efficiency, making you downright immortal. Purple Rain is one of the most useful meta spells. It acts as a save point - cast it once to save your current sp/mp/hp, then cast all your buffs (like Moonwalker's Grace and SFP) and debuffs (like Mesmerize and Love Potion), then cast Purple Rain again to return your sp/mp/hp back. Here are some spells you can cast inside the PR loop: - Invincible Star (your Vault). Can reduce the damage you take down to 1% - great option against bosses that can't be stunned. - Moonwalker's Grace. Qc Dex booster. - Edoc Imanok. Qc MRM boost, enhances your blocking. - Dragonguard Invocation. Makes your next attack an automatic Lucky Strike. UR. Not qc. Pets At 0 Cha, you have little reason to use anything except Poelala. If you use Kindred sword, the pet from the same set can gather enough charges to autohit every single turn. Miscs Elemental resistance miscs are not really meta anymore - you tend to end up killing the monster long before they make any difference. If you want a safety net though, Cyclop's Eye covers all the elements in one slot. Essence Orb should be your first priority. The misc allows you to turn your hp into sp, fueling a wide variety of nukes and effects. Pixel Ether (your Vault) can convert sp into mp, giving it great synergy with Essence Orb. You can also pick up Rejuvenating Necklace, which gives mp based on damage dealt. Either way, you should always have mana to cast a spell. Shadowfeeder Pendant is one of the best meta enablers - by clicking on it, you can get qc celerity; great synergy with Purple Rain and any elecomped nukes. Love Potion is another great meta misc, giving you a qc stun. Keep the Helm of Frostval Past for the qc bth boost. There's a wide variety of miscs you can use to boost damage. Grakma Warhorn's Berserk gives a notable damage bonus (not /2 for spells, making it one of the strongest spell boosters), but at the expense of accuracy. Eye of Osiris (Int and bth) or Murderator Gauntlet (Int and control chance) have no real downsides. Quadforce (with Cha boost toggled) gives the highest boost, but at a fairly high cost. Taladosian Pendant gives Mental Potence, increasing your chances of inflicting Vamp's Mesmerize. Bag of Mixed Nuts can give a qc boost to damage or defences. If you get a spare UR, Prime Chaos Orb is a pretty op misc, allowing you to scramble your foe's resists while also boosting all damage dealt on the field. Hope the info's useful and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
