No, Moglord is an old standard SP Skill. Tsunami Pen works with spells, SPells, skills that are treated as spells, spell-like effects. That sort of thing.

OK, then what can I use instead to boost its damage or improve utility? Should I use a weapon like zealot's? Infinita staff? Etc?

Nope. Old standard skills do not interact with any weapon effects.

But before you do anything rash; the skill is one of the strongest in the entire game!

You can boost your STR, DEX or INT to boost the damage, or one of many miscs that provide a damage boost.
