Prime chaos orb is a quick cast skill that take 1 misc slot. Players that use Prime chaos orb can save 1 weapon slot, 1 pet slot and 1 spell slot.

Prime chaos orb need some form of cost to keep the item balanced.

Prime chaos orb sp cost for 1 use: 35.24% melee

(1 * 10 + 5 * 7.5 + 10 * 2.5) * 0.875 * (1 / 3) / 0.6 = 35.24

Also please update all Scrambler spells to a newer standard.

The downside to using the Orb is enemies can kill you faster if you are not careful. However that can be easily avoided with stuns and high blocking.

Despite the positives this item give, I do find it strange that the Orb SP cost is so low.

The orb also locks you out of slots and can skip your turn. Especially since it scrambles your elements getting an armor, weapon, pet, or spell locked could mean a huge nerf in your damage output. That seems balanced to me. It could have a slight SP increase for boosting LUK and CHA but I don't see the need for a nerf.

The downside of losing access to parts of the battle menu should be enough. Sometimes the attempt fails. Each use increases enemy damage against us too. That seems balanced enough. When used often we become a glass cannon in most cases. Luckily in many fights we get the initiative.
