This is less of a "help me make this work" and more of a "does anyone actually do this?"

If so, what are the downsides you've noticed? What made you decide that that was the best decision?

Do you have gear/miscs to give yourself a LUK boost, or do you you forsake it all together?

I have a beast master mage with 0 luk and 250 int/dex/char. I basically use my pets to do all the damage against lower level mobs and use a dodge strategy (similar to yours) against bosses and it works out great. It hasn’t failed me yet. If you’re still using the dodge play style you shouldn’t have any problem with 0 luk as long as you’re still using all of your mrm boosters. Only downside is not having initiative but other than that it’s not bad. Only pets can do lucky strikes and most of the time guests are stronger than pets anyway so your damage won’t suffer from not getting lucky strikes. But, if you have the dragon guard spell then you can put 30 points into luk and the other 220 into whatever you like and you’ll still be able to hit lucky strikes pretty much every hit.

In summary I’d say (in my opinion) luk is only worth investing in for pure damage builds. I don’t think the extra mrm is worth it for a dodge build and you’d be better off investing your points into charisma

Thanks for the advice, I've swapped my stat points.

The initiative for such a squishy build was getting a bit annoying, HOWEVER It has recently donned on my how to for the most part always get initiative.

Biggest downside is that the item is a Frostval gift box item, so if you don't have it, and no other item with the same effect exists (that I'm am aware of) you're pretty much out of luck.

The Hyperalphean Skjoldr (shield) is the answer. I originally didn't have any use for it because, while it did have a guarantee to dodge, it was only once per fight, and overall its defenses to compensate for that made the sheild not that great overall in comparison. HOWEVER, if you have the "ready inventory before a fight" activated, you are able to activate it's effect before combat, essentially guaranteeing nothing will hit you. Besides your opponent possibly getting some SP, it functions pretty much exactly like starting first anyway. I dont know if this is something that everybody else was already aware of, but I just thought of it. So if you don't know, now ya know.
