Understandable. But there are items that until used and tested, arn't fully understood. They seem better than they are. Also, info subs and descrips arn't always 100% transparent. Example: Radiant Prism The info subs says : «Light misc. Increases damage and accuracy of attacks. Mastercraft; has a built-in Light spell.» and it says.. EFFECT Increases damage and BTH of normal player attacks and spells by +[Boost]% and +[BTH] respectively. Magic weapon attacks get *4/3 of the boost (listed as MBoost and MBTH), and spells get *1/2 of the boost (listed as SBoost and SBTH). Nowhere does it say it increases *LIGHT* damage and *LIGHT* bth *ONLY*. One could read this two ways. I read it one way, the wrong way. And since it has a light spell attached, I would think one might accidentally get this thinking the effects applied universally (good, being a UR GGB) and it having a light spell too, thus being called a "light misc"..like I did. So one might regret selecting this item being that it only boosts light. That's what I did. Also, the newer misc the Nekomancer doll thing. I got it, too, and it has been a HUGE disappointment. Also, What about when better versions of older GGB's come out? There are magic weapons of the water (winged sapphire staff vs cutlass) and wind elements (forget names of one vs cutlass) that boost spells, and then later weapons come out that boost spells even more. (cutlass weapons) Even if the former were Rares, and the latter were UR's, one no longer has the need for the Rare items and sellback is zero. It makes the old Rare box trash. There has to be an opportunity to rectify certain things. Maybe more clear info subs will help. Maybe doing a bit more research on the players part will help. Maybe not creating similar or much better items of the same flavor will help. But going forward doesnt fix the past. Also, "that's tough" and turning a blind eye isn't showcasing a good product, if that's the approach. I'm not saying it is, just saying if it is.
