I just got back after a >3 year hiatus. After discovering some new builds, I kinda want to make a second build. Could y'all could help me out and suggest a fun f2p build? I'm currently debating between FD beastmaster or dodge build, but im also considering a warrior beastmaster of some kind.

The problem I had with my FO mage was that there was too much setup with all the purple rain and chaos orb stuff, so I don't want this second build to be all about setting up nukes (ruling out "eater" builds)
Also I don't want to invest z-token items or premium items, saving that to juice my mage. (although I really like the backlash concept :/) Preferably keep GGB items to a minimum too.

I have accumulated some rare items over the years too, like ebilcorp logo and the frostval weapons, I know for dodge and elevuln builds they are good items? So if theres a build that benefit well from a rare item, I will check and see if I have.

Thanks

Dodge can be a fun f2p build, though you'd likely need to wait for certain items to come back, like Alchemical Unity (Blarney) or Bun-Banneret (Void).

A very simple f2p build would be to max out your End, and use Your Soul Burns Bright as a Beacon with PCO, potentially adding any Kettles and Teapots you come across.

Finally, you can make a reasonably cheap classic hybrid DoT build. Werepyre lvl 1 skill inflicts a strong Bleed, which can be paired with Scarab pet (lvl 105+) and Fracture Point (Mogloween). As the skill's cost is reduced by elecomp and divided between mp and sp, you can spam it pretty much every turn.

They all seem fun to play. How is the end game viability for these builds? Never seen a video on the latter two.

I'm assuming the burn build run 250end/250dex/250luk? I get that this spell burns based on end, but what do you get to complement it? End boosting misc? Maybe the samuri giftbox set?

250str/250dex/250cha for the bleed build? And why is the scarab giving -20 bleed potence? Is there any other gear that gives bleed potence or is good for this build?

As a user of burn spell as an End Warrior I can tell you are aiming more for the damage rather than the burn effect itself. For my build not focusing on it/ nor really boosting it any further 1000 damage or so for around 100 hp isn't a bad trade. So you would likely get more mileage buffing the pure damage at the start while just letting the burn amp up or do it's own thing. Alright so I did what testing I just on the combat trainer with 100 resists and 311 end from a combo of the Teapot mic, teapot end drive shied, Fenrir pup and I can say based on those items being rare now/ tokens it really wasn't a super increase of damage (900 to 1110 something on a lucky strike). On a test with the chaos orb getting to 45 chaos points on the trainer I killed him in one shot that was around 88888 damage so if you can endure long enough to ramp up the damage with that misc it certainly can pack a punch, but the damage cap is something to worry about alongside the multiple turns required.

When a player inflicts status conditions on the enemy a save is viewed from the perspective of the enemy, as stated in the info submissions of equipment, a +20 is a benefit for the enemy, and a -20 is a detriment, potence is a detriment therefore its negative and weakness is a potence therefore its positive, this same concept applies to when the enemy inflicts a status condition on the player, but will not be affected by the player's potence/weakness, only its own potence/weakness for the said status condition.

The builds should all be endgame-viable, though each has certain pitfalls. Dodge builds relying on Blind (like the one from Alchemical Unity) would be seriously weakened by enemies with Boss Boost. End build and Bleed are single-hit, so both deal reduced damage against monsters with damage cap.

The benefits of Luck would be fairly negligible. I would suggest investing in Cha, so your pet/guest would be useful while you cast Your Soul, or a damage stat (Str or Int) to have a fallback. Like Red Blood mentioned, the Burn is not the point, it's more of a cherry on top. At lower levels Pendant of The'Galin is nice, as it gives End, Cha and bth. Goggernaut Helm is also a good option against high-MRM mobs, as its accuracy bonus does not /2 for spells.

I was actually suggesting 250 Str/Dex/Int, a classic hubrid build. Werepyre skill uses Str/Int, and Fracture Point (inflicts Bleed and has 20 Bleed potence) uses Dex. There's Shark Sabre (also inflicts Bleed and has Bleed potence), but alas, it costs tokens.

Yep the burn can give you some extra damage but you are always working with a 3 turn timer with it so it's hard to amp it up, and getting Cha to use some sort of pet/guest combo with be nice. Might I suggest the new protector pet that can make your enemy vulnerable to light damage along with a decent light guest? The paladin summons, Rayzard summon, the angels, the guardian ghost in the mic, or even free options like the Paladins at The Edge of Extinction can fill in the guest slot for just light damage. Those are just some I can think of that are in the Sp camp vs the old mp camp summons but there are likely other options as well. The Paladin focused option isn't also a bad idea assuming you wish to make use of Zorbak at least to turn your foe undead to limit the harm you'd take, and maximize your damage(a god send if you are dealing with multielement foes). Outside 5 per day you'd need to try your luck with Ebony Sepulchures Necro Command skill that requires two fails from the mob, and a certain set of stats to perform at it's best ontop of being a token item. The focus could backfire on you a bit but if paladin will be your go to light armor it's worth keeping the idea in mind.
