I think most rangerpyres go with dex/int/luck, but the above build could work nicely as well. Str/Dex/Int would allow for the greatest versatility, and the changes to initiative mean that three mainstats give the same Initiative as one mainstat and Luck. Here's a tentative rating: Weapons I would suggest changing your no-drop element to fire, as wind has a slightly more useful shield option available. Kindred toggles to autohit. (requires Kindred pet to maintain the effect) Haunted Dragonlord's Might deals slightly less damage to recover sp based on the number of hits. Goes nicely with Werepyre Beast Form. MagnaBlade is one of the old standard FO weapons, giving it +25% damage for an increased damage intake. Fracture Point toggles to inflict Bleed with Bleed potency to boost your Superior Claw's infliction. Energy has two potential Harm options. Caissa has a high-cost toggle that makes you deal Harm damage and inflicts Prismatic Burn. Royal Voidrender is a more standard 20-proc with Harm toggle. Lion's Roar is a wand, but its 37.5% damage bonus to light spells (against undead) gives it great synergy with Paladin's Inner Light skill. Infinita Staff (rare GGBs) deals less damage than other weapons, but recovers sp (in Ranged mode) based on damage dealt. This is slightly broken, as it allows you to easily recover half - or even all - of your sp bar when paired with strong weapon-based nukes. Armors Naturally, the three werepyre variants. Between the four armors and Fracture Point, you can beat 99% of all monsters in the game. That leaves you with four utility slots, so here are some options to fill them in: Paladin is an exceptional class against Undead, with a variety of nukes, toggles, a light booster guest, and chargeable resurrection. Necromancer is best used by beast builds, but it has enough unique skills to be useful against certain bosses. H-Series Tempest Armor is the best warrior armor available. It has Initiative Bonus (and +50% damage on first turn if you win), a toggle locks you to energy (with elecomp going into damage) with celerity, and a weapon-based skill that can be paired with the toggle. Ultimon's Armor the only dark/light FO armor we have to fight shadow mobs. A Bloodzerker or two may come in handy as well, if you know the element of the monsters you'll be facing in any given quest. Shields Celtic Wheel has Int drive. Fujin shield has Dex drive that pairs well with Fracture Point. Carpe Somnia compresses ice/energy. Keep Eternal Champion for Werepyre's quickcast Panic. Against Undead mobs, use Paladin's inbuild shield. Against any other light monsters, Scarab Shell comes with a toggle to reduce monster's defenses. Eclipsed Dragonlord Will has a qc Barrier skill that scales with your Str. For a utility shield, wait until Black Friday sale to buy Troposhield. Its defenses are subpar, but the EleVuln infliction makes it the closest thing we have to pre-update CIT, if only for three elements. Spells Keep Essence of Carnage. I'd suggest grabbing Poelala as well, except you'll deal more damage with weapon skills than anything - with the sole exception of Paladin, and that guy has an inbuild booster guest. Purple Rain has been heavily nerfed, but it could still come in handy against boss monsters when you expect the battle to last more than three turns and want to stack buffs (or simply pre-stack Bleed). Moonwalker's Grace is the only f2p qc stat booster, so it may be worth a slot. Chromatic Channeling is kind of a bizarre spell, in that it costs your turn to give a short Str buff, lock your attacks to a random element, and inflict monster with random element poison that heals your hp. Basically, it's a high-random spell to boost offense and heal. I'd suggest using it with Infinita Staff (to offset the cost) and Bloodzerker or some other weapon-based skill. Gandolphin gives you a qc mana shield. Use in Beast Form for higher numbers. Sometime around Frostval, New Year's Surprise will return. It's a qc buff to accuracy, which is nice if you're planning to hit the other guy with a nuke. Pets Scarab gives you Bleed Potency. Kindred pet gives your Kindred sword charges to autohit every turn. Angra Linnorm is a f2p melee/ranged booster pet with Backlash. Spotter Drake gives Status Potency. Underwyrmling toggles to harm monster sp. Miscs Keep Essence Orb. Rejuvenating Necklace recovers mp based on damage dealt. Shadowfeeder Pendant allows you to stack celerity. Love Potion (returns in February) gives a stackable qc stun. Prime Chaos Orb gives qc skill to scramble monster's resists and boost all damage dealt on the field. Optico Statue gives +10 Status Potency. Goggernaut Helm gives +10 global bth. ...And probably something to boost damage. There's lots of options - Eye of Osiris (Str, Int and bth), Hollow Dragon Amulet (Str, Dex and bth), Murderator Gauntlet (Str, Int and chance of Control), or even Grakma Harbinger with Berserk toggle that lowers your accuracy, but provides the largest known boost to spells. Pick your poison. Hope the info's useful and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
