MC Darkness shield

If you have at least 154% Melee* worth of Poison on your foe, you can click on the shield to consume that much to Imbue your weapon with Voidforged Corruption (1 turn):
- Weapon attacks become Void.
- Inflicts your foe with Chromatic Corruption, which is a Poison (Void, power:5, 1 turn, heals your HP by the damage dealt). (Inflict with MainStat/LUK, resist with END/LUK.)
This is a quickcast skill that locks your shield in until the end of the turn.

*When used with the weapon Hubris, the cost is decreased by 15% Melee and your weapon is locked in too.

The monster can resist with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with [weapon mainstat]/LUK, resist with DEX/LUK)

 Season of Gifting Winter '24 Token prize (top 200 donors): Sovereign Horror Shield. Kam says:

Ice shield, MC activates three different effects at start of player turn if mob attacked in the prior turn.

  • Enemy's MP is struck for (2.5 x 0.85 x 1.5)% Melee in Harm damage.
  • Your HP is healed for (2.5 x 0.85 x MobHits / MobAttempts)% Melee.
  • Your SP is healed for (2.5 x 0.85 x MobMisses / MobAttempts)% Melee.

    If enemy has <= 0 MP when the effect triggers, then the MP damage doesn't trigger and you get both HP and SP healing no matter with 1/1 for MobHits/Attempts and MobMisses/Attempts in the above formulae.

    Earth/Ice shields, Ice version scales. Has a toggle that turns on/off a Bleed-eating effect that activates on the first attempted hit from the mob in a turn. If the eat mode is active, the shield will, once per turn, eat up to 200% Melee worth of Bleed from the mob to deal a hit of (EatenVal x 0.9 x 0.85)% Melee in Harm damage, this auto-hits, and is Harm, hence the x0.85 and x0.9, respectively.

    		 GGB Ultra Rare: [Fire/Light]-Qualia Timeless Guardian's Lustrous Ward

    Fire/Light shields. Works similar to the misc item, applies Barrier worth (50 x 0.85)% Melee to player after any spells are cast if you have at least 50% Melee in SP available at end of turn. Same check as with the misc, if a spell hit is done, even a healing spell, or you end turn after your most recent action was a spell, the Barrier fires. MC bonus is not used for this since the effect is not a toggle, so MC lets you replenish (5 x MobHits / MobAttacks / 0.85)% Melee in MP at start of turn.

    		 New package item: Antitoxin Predator's Tower. Kam says:

    Light shield, MC toggles between two modes, providing either boosted blocking or reducing damage taken based on # of negative status effects on the field (both on player and enemy, player status effects are worth more). By default, MC gives +1.6875 blocking per negative status on the enemy, and +3.375 blocking per negative status on the player, capping at +9 blocking in total. Click to toggle it to instead use MC to gain -(2.8125/1.4)% DmgTkn per negative status effect on the enemy, and -(5.625/1.4)% DmgTkn per negative status on the player, capping at a total of -(15/1.4)% DmgTkn. If using the weapon and armour of the set, these bonuses get doubled. (For the nerds: this is actually done via points, each internal point is worth 0.9375% Melee of effect, with enemy statii being worth 3 points each, and player statii being worth 6 points each, and capping at a total of 16 points, or 15% Melee)

    		 Trickster's Visage

    Wind shield, pays MC and by default, is in Weal mode, causing you to replenish SP at end of monster turn = to (5 x Blocks / Attempts / 0.15 = 33.33...)% Melee assuming you block every hit. Can be clicked to toggle to Woe mode, which causes you to suffer -6 to block rate, and attempts a -(15 / 1.4 / 2 / 1.5 * Hits (Max 4) = ~3.57 per hit)% DmgTkn Panick on the foe at end of mob turn. Standard -(15/1.4)% DmgTkn, /2 for assumed # of enemy hits, and /1.5 for assumed duration. This has a -10 penalty to the save, and inflicts with WpnMainstat/LUK vs foe CHA/LUK.

    Also has Lv 31/85/125/143 Z Token versions, costing 737/2409/4620/5940 tokens, respectively.

    		 Chupa Ward

    Darkness shield, MC effect is that Poison status deals +10% damage. Loses a further 3 MRM (already factored in to numbers below) to apply +10 Poison Potence as well. Normally these would be +20% and +20, respectively, but they get a compression penalty for being on the same item.

    		 Warforged Package: Warforged Retribution

    Ianthe says:

    Fire shield. Takes -3 blocking for the following effect:
    - If the mob has Freedom or Fear Immunity you heal [50% Melee] in SP whenever the mob spends SP on its turn. As a bit of a sanity check to prevent it from triggering every turn, the mob needs to spend at least [60% Melee] in SP.
    - Otherwise, you heal [40% Melee] in SP whenever the mob doesn't attempt any attacks on its turn, such as when it's Paralysed.

    If you're wielding a Magic weapon then you heal MP instead.

    Bonus: You can click the shield to skip your turn and gain 4 stacks of Divine Pressure.

    		 Solsteel Aegis

    Light shield, MC compresses two skills activated by clicking the shield to bring up a menu.

    Steel Flare: 2-hit spell/skill that fires two token hits of 1 damage each, similar to Wyrdflame. This consumes your turn and either 125% Melee in MP if holding a Magic weapon or 100% Melee in SP otherwise. For each hit that connects, you attempt two 4 turn Burns, one targeting HP, one targeting MP. Burns are same element as the shield, given a boost due to ele-comp (similar to the Honorbound Croakward shield), so you start with 200% Melee, x2 since it has a 50% save, /2 for # of hits, another /2 since one hits HP, the other MP, and /4 for duration of the Burn. So in total (200 x 2 / 2 / 2 / 4 = 25)% Melee Burn per hit, boosted by EleComp. If the foe is below the MP needed to cast a spell of their level, then instead of being a regular Burn, it swaps to a purely HP-targeting Prismatic Burn, still 4 turns, with (200 x 2 / 2 / 4 = 50)% Melee, then /8 and x 132/109 for being Prismatic, so ~7.57% Melee. These both have a 50% save, inflicting with WeaponMainstat/LUK vs mob DEX/LUK.

    Rending Sun: Quick-cast Imbue, charges based on player level, worth 77.81% Melee in MP/SP for a (Hits/Attempts)% chance to attempt a 1 turn Spirit Rend on the foe.
