I agree, I'm glad to see the hero being assertive for once rather than a passive blank slate. He saw the bandit crew for what it was and didn't really waste time blubbering on about it, of course attempting to reason with them shortly just to hear their side out but quickly realizing that it was a waste of time and just beating them up. I do think the exposition was quite heavy in the previous quest and that some of the information Safiria was giving us could have been relayed through text pop-ups during the gameplay segment or if we had more time to naturally come to an understanding of the ramifications of Safiria's concerns, but for what it's worth, this two-parter definitely does improve on concerns I've had with the main story. The ending with Moonbane Glauca incapacitating Alban after the fight felt a little forced and off, though. It kind of felt like beating her up a bit made her come back to her senses, and Alban doesn't particularly say or do anything during the fight that could potentially make her want to rethink. Considering you're greatly encouraged to defeat Glauca first, maybe he could've had a text pop-up upon her defeat where he told his guards not to bother with a hired help that failed and just go after their target, which combined with the knowledge of a cure being in development, would probably make her think that her captain isn't exactly a team player. Because surely, if she was so quick to turn and confess her team's banditry, she had to have been harboring some feelings of resentment for a while but went along with it due to familiarity, right? I do think that the note to start the quest should be moved below the Blood and Roses button on Thursday's UI though, as it clearly happens after that (and the rest of Book 3). I know it's supposed to be a replay of the events, but no other map does this kind of thing upon completion so it's a little odd. I would like to have the option to Talk to her somewhere down the line too, it feels like so much is still in the air after the events of Blood and Roses, and it would be nice to recuperate and catch up with one of the hero's oldest friends at this point.
