 In order to make time to address unexpected complications in the Lucky Strike revamp, we have had to make an emergency reschedule of all-hands weeks to clear time for continuous work on it.

One such example is the Final Solstice finale, as we need the entire team available for a week to make it happen, and we have no weeks left in the 2025 schedule in which that can happen.

The Moonshadow Monastery was meant to happen after this upcoming finale, but we're moving forward with it to provide some content to tide you over. It'll contain no spoilers, but do a lot of heavy lifting for future Darkovia content.

While this is a large release, it's not a huge class or subrace revamp week. It's something meant to be doable by the rest of us while Ianthe focuses on critical update work.



I'm afraid this isn't the dracopyre yet, folks. That would take a lot more than one week, between setup and the multi-week project that subrace armors (Just like T2 classes) represent. This is, however, the first step toward it! The Moonshadow Monastery is set up to avoid major spoilers about the Final Solstice ending while getting our foot in the door of exciting Darkovia content.

Huh. I always pictured Dracopyre being a multi play style tier 3 class like subrace, considering the need to invest in the Vampire, Werewolf, and Werepyre sub-races, as well at the Dracopyre's lore based ties to the Shadowslayer / Nighthunter classes.

Admittedly, getting introduced to what sounds like a potential anti Dracopyre faction of Darkovia does sound interesting.

Hopefully the shop for the new package is released quickly because keeping 12 weapons is annoying to keep in inventory/vault.

 Now that the Doomlights have returned, any chance of the Shadowspark bug being fixed? If you log in with the set equipped the shield effect will often turn itself off at the beginning of the first battle. I think this has something to do with how the pieces of the set were originally released. I have not noticed this with Frostripper or Tremorhide.

My condolences about the dev scheduling, but I am excited for Darkovian-specific content!!

But seriously though, devs please consider something more vanilla when next year's donation rewards set rolls around. Y'all deserve a break @.@

 We are currently aiming for a Friday release! We have some really fun armors releasing with the new Moonshadow Monastery - including a fairly complex class/subrace hybrid, and a highly requested classic armor returning in both its original and fully CC forms.

Dev note: Ianthe's sole priority is finalizing the critical LS update, while Kamui is managing the weekly releases. This does mean however that the Doomlily collection will need to be pushed back until next week. To make up for the slight delay and thank you for your patience, we will be starting a special promotion next week a little early!

What do you mean by class and subrace HYBRID? That does not seem like a light week to me, two armors, are we sure about this?

A surprising reveal for what's to come. I was certain it'd be a smaller release to allow backlog catch up.

 That is great to hear that you're loving the latest releases, seriously, thank you for the awesome feedback! This has been a very special release thanks to everyone's teamwork! A big thank you to our Lorekeeper for expanding on the fantastic Darkovia lore and the writeups for the new Moonshadow Monastery and gear.

Quick update: We need one more day to ensure nothing explodes with one of the new armors (we’re testing all of the bubble wrap). We're expecting to go live on Saturday.

So... I'm going to play the devil's advocate.

Maybe the devs shouldn't release anything new after this for the month of November. As unpopular and extreme of a suggestion as it is, it would give them the time they need to finish up anything they are currently working on, as well as giving them a head start on the hectic amount of work that the December releases always end up being.
