I decided to revisit this game from my childhood and decided to reach max level on this game since it felt impossible as a child. However, I noticed that after an hour of grinding my character no longer gains XP, no matter what I do? I started the grind from level 72 and the issue appeared the mid way point of level 86 to level 87. Is this a bug?

Yes, this game does have an exp cap, so go take a rest or do non-DF matters until it resets 00:00 EST.
