Chroma Martino MC Earth FO armor with Energy secondary. Inflicts self with debuffs that get progressively stronger in exchange for time-related effects. Charge Mechanics - Borrowed Time: All skills generate Borrowed Time stacks. Stacks are detrimental, acting like a permanent Power: (0.025*[Stacks]) Harm Poison. * Charges don't carry over between battles. * Charges still do damage to the player if the armor isn't equipped. * If stacks exceed a certain amount, inflicts an increasingly stronger debuff on the player. This check happens both after generating stacks and at the end of the player's turn. (All effects except 560 can be Lucky Broken/Unyielded.) **1st Infliction - 100 Stacks: 1 turn Paralysis. Removes 1 Power from the Poison. (Your excessive use puts too much strain on your body! You need to rest!) **2nd Infliction - 250 Stacks: 1 turn Paralysis. Removes 1 Power from the Poison. (You double over, unable to handle the stress!) **3rd Infliction - 400 Stacks: 1 turn Paralysis, -23.81 BtH Blind for 3 turns. Removes 2 Power from the Poison. (Is... is that...?) **4th Infliction - 560 Stacks: Player dies. (The moon was just out of reach.) Flavor Effect - Destined for Greatness: +105 Initiative. If the player wins initiative, generates a Borrowed Time stack. Toggle - Speedware Blitz: While toggled, applies Player + Misc Celerity on player attack. Generates 40 Borrowed Time stacks. Skill - Pinnacle of Perception: Quickcast weapon-based overcharged skill. Follows weapon element. Usable only once per turn. Generates 100 Borrowed Time stacks. Skill - Take a Load Off: Skips the player's turn. Removes 40 Borrowed Time stacks. This scales off of END. Obviously inspired by Cyberpunk Edgerunners, I wanted to come up with something now that season 2's characters were revealed! It was pretty infuriating how close this was to H-Series in terms of the top-down design, but it really does match with the concept of the Sandevistan, down to the cyberpunk-Energy element. I tried to make this unique enough and avoiding that niche (aka explicitly not adding any elecomp and adding the stipulation that Borrowed Time still affects the player while not equipped) I also wanted to explore what might happen with negative effects on Warwolf WHz-esque items, and I think this is a pretty solid look into that if I do say so myself. Edit: added some numbers after talking with @Chaotic! - thank you as always! Check out their riff on Borrowed Time here!
