This is my first Tut LOL

Note- For gradient maps make sure you do on a deuplicated layer!
Part 1

Part 2

I forgot to mention though that the whole gradient map part is optional

hey y'all. Got a good idea of how to make this a *bit* better

Steps 7-9: instead of all that, just do File>Open as Layer (choose the render you want)
Step 11 (and any time you need to do something to everything): instead of flattening the image and losing the ability to edit a layer separately, do the following:
1. Go to Edit>Copy Visible
2. Make a New Layer
3. Go to Edit>Paste (Ctrl+V)
4. Anchor Floating Selection

now you have the copy you wanted, and all the layers are separate for editing ^.^

Some tip Dep_ gave... though remember that the whole flatten part is so the whole sig is sepia not just a certain part. You can edit it on different layer to get more creative but I didn't do that because I want a oldish looking sig

-Anyways thanks for alll the feedback but I probaly can't help you for a while (I'm Grounded)

Edit2: Can you make the second part of the tutorial's picture more bigger?
Edit3: Lol. Nevermind. :)

definetely not intermediate :l
high beginner at best

If refering to ratings, definatly not intermediate nor moderate (between novice and intermediate), but beginner is the term used for copy and paste works. The rating of the result of the tutorial is Novice. If looking for more information regarding ratings, you may PM me.

Well right now I can't get pictures from gimp but I can tell you-

Guassian Blur is at filters-blur-guassian blur
Brushes are found at the brush icon
The two squares near the top are the fg and bg squares
Opacity meter is on the layer tab
The gradient icon is a square with colors on it
