Maybe we should have some elections soon then. If so shall we have clan head elections and council elections or just one.

can someone explain to me in easy english,whats it with the council and what a member of it has for jobs?
I guess,it will be a fast election,because saadlyy we have around 5 or 6 activ Members at the moment.

Hope this is easy enough but it can be difficult to explain.
The council is designed to keep Geoto organised and keep Geotians happy and enjoying themselves.

The councils are divided up into general, mainly a council for art and replacing missing council members. The war and strategy council which create strategy threads in war time and design the waves and their times as well as the odd speech. The encouragement and peacekeeping council, designed to keep Geoto morale up in peace time as well as make sure there is no unrest amongst the clan.

Finally the high council which is made up of the head, member who won the election, for each council, the ordinary council members are at the moment those who applied but didn't win, the clan head and vice clan heads, if needed. The high council is needed to approve important projects such as a new Rock call or council thread. The other councils try to keep things organised, what they do depends on the council. The council members should also do all they can to provide new threads and ideas. Usually the councils would need to meet on the council thread on a regular basis but because of inactivity I am the only active council member.

Usually there would be elections every 2 months to make sure the council was made up of active members but as we have been so inactive everyone keeps voting to post-pone the elections.

Sounds good to me. The war and strategy council or the encouragement and peacekeeping council would be interesting for me. But I guess it´s clear,that the only Person who is accepted as the Head would be you! And I also think,you would be the only one who deserves to lead us! You´re doing a amazing Job here! But if no one is activ,they can´t complain,if only the activ 5 or 6 Members vote the Council. So i Think,we should herald the election 7 days bofore it´´s done,so that everyone gets the chance to think of what he wants or who he wants.

Thanks I will continue to do my best for Geoto, I got a few ideas ready but I won't share them JUST yet. So I am giving a few days for people to read this before I start taking votes whether we should have an election or not the based on the results of that I will act accordingly.

From the first post. The clan head candidates are nominated by the people of Geoto, geotians who want to be council members apply when an election has started. Voting then follows. One other thing though. to be clan head you must have been the head of another council first.

Maybe, if we do have an election, I will lower the requirements. You can't check exactly Zebac64 so just go by how many posts you think are in the Geoto forums. As I said in a previous post I want a quick vote first on whether to have the elections now or not and I would like to set an exact date ASAP.

Then you might just have time to get enough to apply, I want the elections to be atleast a week or 2 away (1 week to vote on if we have an election and 1 week to let peole know).
