you probably could, but it wouldnt look good. i would just say use the paintbrush tool.

Try sharpening it instead of blurring it on that last step :)

That, and you could also an alternate way of changing the color is to go to Layer>Color>Color Balance. =)

Just what i needed...got one to make things transparent?

@l3Kevin: Hit Ctrl+L, Then click on the layer you want to make transparent, now you should see a bar that says "Opacity", Move the bar to the left to make what you want transparent. OR if you want to get rid of a color Just tap the "Z" Key, Now click on the color you want to make transparent, Then Hit Ctrl+K And it's Gone.
