@CO: I've removed all of your students :P. And thanks for letting me know. I've pm'ed them to let them know that they have been removed as a student from you due to inactivity n_n.

@4jj11: Accepted, please pm your teacher to begin.

4jj11 -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (6/24/2008 15:44:32)

ok thx:D

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (6/24/2008 15:47:26)

And I've added this to the first post ...

quote:

For the STUDENTS:
After your student application is accepted, please PM your teacher. You are given two weeks to PM your teacher, or you will be considered inactive and removed from your teacher's student list. All inactive students that have not interacted with their teachers in long periods of time (decided my the teachers) will be removed and will recieve a PM saying that they have been removed due to inactivity. These students may apply again when they're active.

For the TEACHERS:
If you do not recieve a PM from a student within two weeks after they have been accepted into the STO as a student, please let me know and they will be removed due to inactivity. Students that are inactive, meaning neither of you have interacted within a long period of time (which you can judge, I'm not going to give you a period of time) should be posted here so that I can remove them as soon as possible.

Students that are removed will recieve a PM from me, so teachers don't need to worry about that. [Keep in mind inactivity may not be the only reason that a student is removed.]

Jev -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (6/26/2008 21:24:34)

Lguan... tell the students to get team Viewer. It allows the student to looks at the teachers PS, Gimp, Mainly the computer but they can not touch or fiddle with things as they are adjustable. Very helpful.

http://teamviewer.com/index.aspx

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (6/27/2008 12:54:42)

Unfortunately, I can't force all the teachers and students to use this program, but if you'd like to use this with your students, you should PM them and suggest that they download that program to better help their understanding however I won't make it manditory for all students and teachers to download this.

Any teacher is free to take ChampJev's suggestion though, I just won't force anyone too :P.

Metal Sun -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (6/29/2008 16:54:50)

If I have PS Elements, is it possible to still learn from a PS teacher? I'm not really sure how this will limit me in terms of functionality.
Thanks.

Vixolus -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (6/29/2008 17:02:26)

GAH! I need so much help with GIMP, I suck **** at it >_<

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (6/29/2008 18:01:51)

@Metal Sun: Most people have CS2 or 3, but most PS versions have the same basic filters and tools. I think you should still be able to, unless the teacher you chose doesn't allow it.

@Ghost Rider!: Erm, sign up ...?
