The Virtual Reality -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/17/2007 20:20:41)

Student:
Name: The Virtual Reality: Slash11
Teacher: Xild
Subject: CS2
Hoping to learn: W/e.

Hopefully I can have two teachers! [:D]

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/17/2007 22:17:17)

shnaru1: Okay, that's great. PM your teacher, I believe was LIMN, if you haven't already.

The Virtual Reality: Well, considering you're Slash, you can't have two teachers if they're teaching the same thing. So you'll have to chose Xild or TOTR, Sorry :(.

xildgolee -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/17/2007 23:57:46)

yeah :D

The Virtual Reality -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/18/2007 16:51:33)

Well... Xildy, would you mind teaching me GIMP? Or maybe TOTR could...

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/18/2007 16:56:10)

TOTR teaches Gimp as well as PS, but Xild teaches PS. However, even if they don't use Gimp they could still give you advice in your sigs. Not too sure if Xild ever used Gimp.

Please post when you've made your decision :).

The Virtual Reality -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/18/2007 17:03:02)

Well... I'll have to talk with TOTR about it. Not sure what to do... hard decision!

xildgolee -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/18/2007 19:40:57)

GIMP is a foreign country to me :l

Burned Fire -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/18/2007 19:43:17)

A Student:
Name:Burned Fire
Teacher:DeathKnight2
Subject:Photoshop
Hoping to Learn:A bit of Pentooling and how to improve my tags.

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/19/2007 16:33:02)

The Virtual Reality: Well, you can try talking to both of them about the style they teach.I'm sure they both specialize in PS ... but for example, Xild is rather talented at hand made PS tags. You can check out the things that TOTR is has particular talent in as well. Again, let me know when you have it all figured out.

xild: Yeah, exactly :P ...

Burned Fire: Accepted. Please PM your teacher and sign up on the forums.

Just another thing I'd like to say.
If a student has signed up but has not been interacting or even being a 'student' at all. You have the right to let me know and I will remove them from the list so others (who are actually willing to learn) can.

The Virtual Reality -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/19/2007 16:34:05)

Haven't heard from TOTR lately so put me down as Xildy's PS.

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/19/2007 16:37:06)

Accepted. Please PM your teacher and sign up on the forums if you haven't already. So, I've taken you off as TOTR's student. If you decide to switch, let me know.

The Virtual Reality -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/19/2007 16:45:23)

I believe TOTR teaches GIMP as well. Could you put me down there as well?

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/19/2007 17:12:35)

For now, we'll keep at one teacher per student to accomodate more students.

The Virtual Reality -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/19/2007 17:32:49)

Alright! Works for me!

Hoping to learn: what i put down as my subject

LightningIsMyName -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/22/2007 6:04:38)

Gorgok,
I Pmed you back agreeing to help you with coloring and shading but please note, I'm not the best at this.

acrually I know that lguan is good at coloring so maybe it would be better to ask him for help, You will get much better results if he will teach you.
but if you still want to learn from me, It's OK with me i'll teach you a bit of coloring and shading, but please learn the rest from lguan (keep him as your teacher), he is better then me in this subject

AND 1 -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/22/2007 11:04:49)

Hmm, may I switch to xild for CS3?

lguan -> RE: The STO: Student Teacher Organization (9/22/2007 15:03:37)

Bowser27: Added. Please PM your teacher and sign up on the forums to begin.

Gorgok: I've added you as LIMN's student but seeing as neither of us specialize in what you're looking for, you might have to find someone else who can help you. We'll what we can do though. But as I have already said, we'll keep it at one teacher per student. Thanks.

AND 1: Man, so much switching ... Added. PM your teacher and sign up on the forums to begin :).
