This is a tutorial on how to make a water effect using Adobe PhotoshopElements 5.0


On the first layer, use the bucket fill to fill the canvas with clouds.
Filters>Render>Clouds
It look like this.

Next, we will make th water ripples.
Filters>Distort>Zig Zag
Set it for

Amount = 100
Ridges = 12
Style = Pond Ripples

It should now look like this.

Now to make it look moreliquid you will add a chrome to it
Filters>Sketch>Chrome
Set it so it looks like this

Detail = 7
Smoothness = 10

Now your picture should look like this

You are almost finished. Now all you need to do is change the color.
Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue/Saturation

Click OK, and then set it to this.

Colorize (check)
Preview (check)
Hue = 198
Saturation = 50
Lightness = +6

Your end result should look like this.

nice thats looks good now u should try adding like floating leaves or logs
and mabie adding different colors too the water or even fish
