Jev -> [Paint.net] A ChampJev Tag and lighting tutorial! (3/4/2008 16:45:56)

Ok, guys here is a new tut. For paint.net user’s and is very helpful! I will post the image and explain the rules and steps as well!

Steps:
1) Get to a point in you’re art where you feel comfortable to add a light source
2) Once you are ready, add a new layer to you’re image
3) Then use the paint brush tool and use a suitable color for a light source
4) Then adjust the paint brush width from 35- 50 ( not necessary but helpful )
5) Then find the area where you want to add the light source and start painting dots
6) After go to effects > Blurs > and Zoom blur and set the power or w.e to 100 (but you can change this up) and repeat this at different levels until you’re light source looks better!
7) You can change the brightness, glow, opacity level and blend mode freely don’t be afraid to experiment!

*** Also visit Paint. Net’s official site for custom brushes, plug-ins and much more to help you out!

***** This tut. Can also be used to blend objects and much more just follow those step’s but add the paint; where you want you’re blending!

****** I recommend this for black and white tags for easier blending e.g.!
