Aelthai -> AQ Bugs Forum Cleaning (5/14/2008 17:40:54)

I am currently in the process of cleaning out this forum. I am going through old Bugs posts, collecting them, and creating a new post with all of the bugs I am able to confirm, and which also lists the common reports that are NOT bugs. This will make it easier to tell if your bug has already been reported.

You may well notice purple text appearing in your Bug report; if you do, I've seen your report. If you have not provided enough information, I will ask for more information; otherwise, I will let you know what I can find out about your report.

The new posts will also have a template to use when reporting a bug. Please use it; the more detail is included in your Bug post, the easier it is to track down.

If your post is no longer here:
1. Please check the new thread. Your bug may be listed in the "Not a bug" or "Known bugs" sections. If it is, congratulations! You do not need to report it again.
2. If it is NOT in the thread, please check that the bug still occurs. Many of the reported bugs have been fixed.
3. If the bug was reported in the wrong thread (e.g. a graphical error on a monster reported in the Monster Bugs thread instead of the Graphics Bugs thread), please do not repost your bug until the correct thread has been posted; this is when you will be able to see if your bug was caught.
4. If the bug still occurs and is not listed in the first post of the (new!) correct thread, please post a new report using the template in the appropriate thread. You may not have included enough information for me to find the bug, or I may simply have missed the post.

Posts which were in the wrong thread may or may not end up listed in the correct thread; they are much harder to track down. Please try to post in the correct thread. This is a particular problem with graphical bugs; ALL graphical bugs belong in the Graphics Bugs thread, even if they occur on a monster or Quest.

I am going back through all of the posts, so this will take a while.
