DeathKnight2 -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/5/2008 22:01:03)

Oh-M-Gee
That is cool

Dragon. -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/6/2008 2:00:05)

how do i replace it with my current version of gimp 2.4
and will i lose my fonts and brushes

zenron the great -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/6/2008 12:59:49)

FINNALY

maybe GIMP will work now >_>

Saerokeon -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/6/2008 13:27:57)

dragon: when you dl it it'll automatically uninstall the old one. I'm not sure about the brushes/fonts. Just in case, put them all in a folder and save it. Then take them out of the folder and back into the gimp 2.4.6 folders

LightningIsMyName -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/6/2008 14:21:28)

Lol - gimp 2.5 is already out.
Gimp 2.1, 2.3, 2.5 and so on are the unstable versions for development.

You intended to say that GIMP 2.6 (the next stable version) is what we are getting closer to.

by the way, GIMP 2.6 should be released in july http://www.gimpusers.com/news/2008-04-23/gimp-2-6-release-july.html

noamba -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 2:43:05)

Where do you download it?

crazysk8er -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 7:00:31)

perhaps clicking the link would help

Saerokeon -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 9:16:19)

I'm talking stable, LIMN. Unstable is unsafe. I had to re-boot/re- a lot of stuff/ get-a-new-laptop partly because I dled an unstable version.

Tormenter -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 11:42:18)

any new good effects / junk ?

Angelic Rose -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 11:46:20)

Erm, is there a portable edition? XD

Mo -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 12:00:51)

No, no portable editions of GIMP so far.

Mo -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 15:37:13)

What exactly is the difference between that and normal GIMP?

The Illusive Man -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 15:37:57)

Mo - I think portable editions don't use the registry. meaning they can be used on any computer.

ShyTrake -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 16:04:15)

Wait-does that mean you could get GIMP on PSP if it was portable?

The Illusive Man -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 16:05:48)

No. I don't think so. What I think it means is no registry. It still requires windows to run.

Angelic Rose -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 16:07:52)

Mo, thanks for the information, I hope that it will be released soon... :D

XD i wish.

umm....another thing,if you DL a portable something(at least its like this with portable PS and apophysis)you have to re dowlaod it every time.

ShadowSlash -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 19:32:31)

I've got Portable GIMP and it's just like your own comp's gimp. You don't have to re-download it every time.
save it to a USB disk or floppy disk or CD or something. really useful.

AND 1 -> RE: GIMP 2.4.6 (6/7/2008 20:30:48)

B_F: no you dont lol

^^^oh ok n/m you told him XD

also, i used to have PS portable, dont have to download it again\
idk about apophysis, but i doubt it
