I remember when the game started I sat on my computer for a couple of hours waiting until it came I remember everything else since then too!

The beggining was actually pretty frustrating. The summer before the game was released, I check the website once a day. It was updated nowhere near as much.

I remember when I thought the lvl 6 RH mech was like the best pwner of all time.. lol that was a fun time! i put refurbished machine guns and N00B missiles on it with omni hawk for head![:D]

Oh! Oh! A n00b build come to my mind: Chassis: Classic House Mech FA: Electron Sniper BA: Lava Blaster FS: Plasma Pulsar BS: Sling Missle H: lvl 6 house head. Got me through level 14! But, now, the shoulders will be replaced with N-UBER Missles (FLX-1).

My newbie build was HammerHead Super(Oh, another nostalgia:when i had NGs) Shining Electron Sniper Super Magma Cannon Alien Star Ray Plasma Pulsar... I got to level 15 with it...but then the house mechs cameshudders I really hated the classic house mechs, for a while I wouldn't even use them, heh...

I remember when: -The SC Monthly Mech didn't even exist. -The difference between the amount of SC and NSC content was so small, people didn't find it necessary to Upgrade. -Before the power-curve started. -Gark and Lagos weren't planets yet. -Zargon was the new planet. -Before X-Boost and Mecha Cola were released.

I remember farming enough for a Delta Leader (wasn't a star captain then), then missing out by a few hours when the war's over, then the shop returning with the 2nd ss war... I still keep it, because it was one of the most badass mecha designs I've ever seen. A true work of art.

I remember when DoT's were all the rage. This was back when we were stuck on the drop ship at the very beginning of the game, everyone was convinced Dragontooth chain gun was the best back arm available. Then someone finally realised that the DoT's on smokey flame thrower made it do more damage then any weapon in game. Probably a build everyone remembers would be Front Arm: Crusader's Shining Repeater Back Arm: Smokey Flame Thrower Back Shoulder: Large Military Repeater Body: Newbatron V1337 Head: Wolf's Head. Good time's :D

Anyone remember shadow napalms? Shoulders that had a 5-10 damage, 5 turn DoT that stacked with each other. Good times. And victor, yeah, that was my build way back in the day :D

when beating sis zero was an accomplisement when we where in the drop ship for a long time the first time we whent on lore i whent from lvl 3 to 5 at once that day (weird normaly it's max 1LVL) so much fun

I've been aroung for quite some time well maybe no that long but long enough to know the first ss war man was it tough trying to reach 5 levels in a day i truly don't know to me it's a blur. Also, remember when you would buy novagem sttuf and you would only get like 20% of it back man that sort of sucked![;)]

I remember buying the hammerhead mech. epic in its day. I also remember when soluna police department, hospital. pizza shop, and the other shops were opened.

I remember reaching the levelcap before I ever left the starting area spaceship. I also remember being too poor and too weak to get the best Mechs, thus resulting in me having to bash enemies over the head with my Mech's severed arm.

The hammerheadSC version was the mech that caused me to upgrade.... I.HAD.TO.HAVE.IT. Now...lvl 39 and pwning da noobs with vladic knight...I miss it so much...

I remember the epic trip on the spaceship to a planet called Lore that took ages, since we could not find Soluna City on the map. Stupid Whorsh...
