Link?

Anyways, rawk on, Dizzy. Love your poetry! *resolves to steal Dizzy's talent get better*

Oh, and don't forget about my edits for Poet's Tree. =P

Amboo -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (6/27/2008 15:50:02)

Mehehehe, thanks for that. As Firefly says, Rawk on Dizzy.

Hi! Umm... a late congratz for being the April PoTM

Anyways...

The last lines in the 3 stanzas of Contagious were genius!:

quote:

Let blood be spilt today.
Let blood be burned away.
Let blood be drained of red.

Also, I really like the variety of your poems and how creative they are. Liquid Darkness (two random words put together). heh, to be honest, the poems of mine which I consider good are chess-concepted.

Lux -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (8/4/2008 17:03:43)

quote:

Contagious

The body dies in vain,
Mind withering away,
Contagious condition,
Destroyer of nations,
Let blood be spilt today.
Good. I can't improve upon it...

Condition spreads faster,
Killing more than any army,
Ammunition is not found,
Coughing bodies hit the ground,
Let blood be burned away.
Same as before. Just...flowing.

Pathetic attempts to survive,
Reach out to the fields of dead,
But too late as the weapon strikes,
The only vestige of human life,
Let blood be drained of red.
Sad...but nice.

I give it a 10 out of 10. It flows wonderfully, but is sad...however, it's still good poetry.

Your poetry haunts my soul...As good as people have told me I am until I can write like that I'll never truly believe it myself

10 out of 10 bar none its great

Red_Fusion -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (9/28/2008 9:35:11)

very creepy...but good. 10/10. The last stanza was a little weird and sad.

Fornever -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (11/10/2008 6:32:00)

In the poem 'Alchemy', you misspell 'their' as 'thier'.

Little typos there. But seriously, all of your works are amazing. I've tried poetry myself and it didn't work out quite as well as I thought it would. I give them all 10 out of 10. Beautifully written, you most definitely deserve your title.

Oh yes, I think you posted Banging the Drums of Apocalypse twice.

Lilyheart Butterflies -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (3/1/2009 12:00:01)

Fornever is right!

Before Firefly and after of both "Banging the Drums of Apocolypse".

LOVELY poetry.

Hey, like the others have said, nice ending to the one that I think Crimzon5 posted to.

Ai No Miko -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (5/18/2009 17:28:06)

I've only skimmed through a few pieces, but the first stanza of Firefly was my favorite so far. [:)]

.Discipline -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (5/18/2009 18:02:55)

Well, thanks for reading, everybody! It's good to know that my older poetry still inspires people. I really should write some new stuff for Legends and Lore soon. The whole thing is starting to get cobwebs and I shouldn't let it.

Question all and Incomplete are very good. Don't be afraid to not rhyme. It always ends up coming out so well.

Helixi -> RE: Possession : Poetry of the Mind - Comments. (1/8/2012 9:44:01)

You should start writing poetry again; it always turns out so well. :D

My, what a delectable feast of word and verse you've laid before us, Discipline! I think it was right around "Puppet" that I realized why I was so charmed with your work: the vivid imagery, short-and-sweet stanzas, and almost whimsical rhythm bring to mind a darker rendition of Shel Silverstein's children's poems, which I loved in elementary school and still adore to no end.

Lovelovelove the chill-inducing imagery and theme of renewal through death in "As the Flame". Assuredly my favorite of your works.

"Ode to an ArchKnight" still has me giggling out loud. I'm reminded heavily of an incident involving a certain ArchKnight falling beneath accusation regarding tendencies of.. *Coughs politely* gastronomical distress.
