The New Paxian Revival Movement

Paxia has, in recent months, started to fall into a recession. Hardly anyone seems to care about Paxia or what happens to it. The AE staff seems to have all but forgotten Paxia and the people who take part of it. We need to change things. We need to work to bring attention back to the 8 elemental clans of Paxia. We have seen Nautica and Glacius activity die to almost nothing (no offense to members of those clans), and it is just not those clans that are affected by the lack of intrest in Paxia. I believe if we work to bring attention around the forums to Paxia, then maybe we will be able to save Paxia from falling into a depression that it may never come out of. In order to prevent this I have some ideas that I believe will help. But it will take the support of everyone who cares about Paxia.

1. We need someone who is artistic to make a sig that advertises Paxia and the movement. If you support the movement please put it in your sig and link it to the Paxia section of the forums. Anyone who can make the signature please pm me with it and I will post it here for others to use.

2.Each clan needs to design their own clan armors(execpt Aerodu, Geoto and Nautica which they should redesign their armors) and make new weapons and spells for the clan. Once done they will all be collected into one big thread and will be submitted into the AQ Suggestion Section.

3. Create Paxia wide events that will attract people.

4.Create new Paxia avatars and submit them to eagle88 for use to use.

5. Weekly meetings on aqstats irc about what to do next.

That's a good idea, but I don't think there's a real point to it.

Bad idea, anything that will put Paxia clans in Unity is a bad idea.

I'm one of the most active in Paxia. And I'm afraid I wouldn't change my avatar to benefit Paxia.

We've tried clan meetings, and wouldn't they go better on AQW? But we've tried them before... And I'm afraid not many people showed up.

I didn't say the events would be Unity Related, inter-clan wars and stuff. Events can be anything. Also do you have a better idea on how to revive Paxia? I'm trying to start a movement that will get people to take part of Paxia and make AE take notice.

To be quite honest, I do not believe we have THAT kind of artists in our community. If anybody can actually do something like that, please correct me now :P While I like the idea of designing it, I believe we should focus on the attacks, stats, etc, and regarding its design, give *detailed* description on how the armor would look like. Furthermore, I suggest doing this. Please feel free to quote this and tell me if you didn't like one part of it and suggest how it could be changed. I believe that the Clan's armors could very well, be like classes armors, with 10 skills. Think about it, it's a great idea in my opinion. And that way, Igneus will finally get our desired true Pyromancer armor lol >_>

I'd like you to explain this idea more. We cannot pm people telling them to check out the Paxia board, that is against the rules. We can, however, pm old members who are still active on the forums. In that case, it is needed to make sure that the person you're pming won't tell an AK or Mod about it saying stuff like "that person is spamming my inbox, I don't care about Paxia anymore". The point is, I don't care if they will accept or not the invitation, but they mustn't get us in trouble lol. And what kind of events? IRC, forums, private forums, like the parties of Lucian and stuff like that?

OMG, I went o_O with this idea, awesome thinking! We could make some kind of a contest, or just choose the best ones. While I love this idea, I don't think that eagle88 deserves getting 10 pms on the same subject with the same petition from the same thread (this one).

Well, that is maybe the most difficult one. I don't like IRC that much lol...but if everyone joins, I'll do as well. It is to be mentioned, though, that this idea has long been repeated and failed. Can I suggest meetings on AQW? I find it better and more fun.

Possible suggestion: Operation: We're not alone!

Some time ago, when we had a big lockdown, I created the Private Paxia Forums. Many members have left the AE Forums but continue being there. I'm an admin there since I created the Forum, I can get 'em to check this out and ask them for help if you want to.

By the way, here is a final thought. We all LOVE our Paxia right now, if we exclude the activity problem. Peaceful, cheerful, those who come might want wars, spam, flam, so we need to make sure that we can control if people like that come. But this isn't really worrying since we've got a moogle and a red sox fan on our side.

Meetings are hard for people because of the different timezones.

The ideas on what to do need a bit of work, but if we are all serious about reviving paxia, we'll figure it out. it will be the last act of unity before the clans start to try kicking each others arses in events again.[:D]

Also, why don't we have a weopen for each clan that, as a special attack, can summon the clan leaders for a powerfull attack! Like Lucain summons Lucais etc. That will be realy cool!

There was the Paxia Post, I think it's remanants are still somewhere in the bowels of Google, for newsletters. Though I'm not quite sure if we'd be allowed to set up shop in Paxia....

I'm trying to remember what Scakk said, I know I brought it up with him earlier...

Bah, maybe it'll hit me later. If not, I'll go and ask later.

I support this Paxian Revival Movement, and wish there was more activities on Paxia.
It's a place with so much potential for being an awsome place to go, but it's inactive for months at a time.

Hmm... This looks like it's ready to be executed into plans. I'm all willing to help if possible. I'm always active in the Aerodu section. Regarding the signatures part, perhaps we can request for it by posting in threads from the Signature & Art Requests forum.

Well we must try to convince the staff to create a paxia rp area, which is only about Paxia storys and the clans.

Well there must be some sort of rping in this section in my eyes to fully revive Paxia forum section.

I can make a sig for each clan, and one with all Paxia.

Right now I'm doing the Igneus one, but I can't think of anything to add as a text except for the obvious " New Paxian Revival Movement" (/me tried out this new text type I found cool...) (though .jpg makes it loose a lot of color from its original)

@Wolfie- No dice. If we can't get a contest/games area for Paixa, we won't be able to get an RP area. New sub-forums have been tried, the staff have said no. :/

Well do you have any ideas UPP? I'm thinking we don't suggest items but cities. One of the reasons paxia isn't visited is because... let's face it: it's useless. We need to make at LEAST small cities for each clan. A quest or two here and there. shops of all kinds, random funnies and hidden things... we need that to generate activity more than items.

Small cities? You better explain yourself, that sounds close to the "sub-clan" rule. Unless you mean in-game, then it's perfectly fine. We'll have to revive the Paxia Project though... Actually, someone want to take over that thread for me? I haven't had time to update it. I do want credit for being original thread starter of course, and the original starter, etc. But it's time someone else carried the torch for a while. Fanciful moogles delegate. :P

We can also do the video idea from the other thread, although it'll be a failure probably. But hey, we can tell the YouTubers that they'll be in 8 clans defending the elements along other members!

I mean, ALL websites lie lol...

By the way, we should end both of my ideas. One was sending the flags to the staff to FINALLY get 'em in-game. I tried, but I couldn't find a site where to email them. Can anybody help me? And please, don't say HelpZard, I looked there...give me a link to a place to send 'em an email.

Oh, and the other idea was just for this place, the "official" forum descriptions of the clans to be placed next to the ones in-game in SCAKK's sticked thread.
