A Musician's Tale

I stand
on the stage

Seeing the faces
staring at me
like I could
do no wrong

They are
in the palm
of my hand
at this moment

Their eyes
reflecting the
lights coming
of the stage

I smile

I sing

I play

I'm the musician

The ruler of this
stage

This world

This crowd

In so many
eyes

I'm perfect

I can do no
wrong

In those performances

I'm a leader

I'm a ruler

I'm a god

In the eyes of
the fans

The people

To Leave a Mark

I want
to change the
world

I want
to leave a
mark

I don't
want to go
and leave nothing
behind

I want
to do
something

How do
you change the
world?

How do
you leave a
mark?

I don't
know

But I
will try

I will
try until I
make a
mark

I know
I can do it
if I
try

If I try
I can do
anything

Why would
you not want
to change
the world?

Why would
you not want
to leave
a mark?

Why would
you not challenge
the world?

Why would
you not go
out fighting?

Go out
Swinging?

Just an update, I may be a published poet soon, if I do get published the book of poems will be called "Over the Shadows -- A Collection of Poetry"

Nevada
<Smalls> To follow
<Smalls> that old
<Smalls> Kit Carson
<Smalls> trail
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To explore the
<Smalls> desert hot
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To get my
<Smalls> glory in the
<Smalls> rains of that
<Smalls> Mojave Desert
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> That's my dream
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To see the
<Smalls> wild horses run,
<Smalls> free
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To see the
<Smalls> stars
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> Unbroken, without
<Smalls> human taint
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To watch
<Smalls> the sunsets over
<Smalls> the miles of
<Smalls> sand
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To see what
<Smalls> So many before
<Smalls> Have seen
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> Yet it is pure
<Smalls> and clean
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To visit
<Smalls> Sin City
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To see the
<Smalls> sin yet also
<Smalls> the love
<Smalls> there
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To be able
<Smalls> to run free
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> In the mountains
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> To be able to
<Smalls> be free of
<Smalls> Human civilization
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> Just to be
<Smalls> alone
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> Just me
<Smalls> and Nevada
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> That is my
<Smalls> dream
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> The desert
<Smalls> so hot
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> yet so cold
<Smalls> The mountains
<Smalls> so high
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> But so free
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> The city
<Smalls> of sin
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> Though it
<Smalls> has so much sin
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> There is so
<Smalls> much good
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> Nevada is
<Smalls> home to so
<Smalls> many
<Smalls> .
<Smalls> One day
<Smalls> I hope it's
<Smalls> home to me

This is a poem that I did for school
Where I’m From

I am from The Killers
From Brandon, to Dave, to Ronnie,
And Mark
I am from “Now That’s What I
Call Music” CDs
From dusty old CD players
To fresh new CDs, with the
Plastic wrapping still on the floor
From downloads and CDs
To my sturdy iPod dropped
Thousands of times on through
My old portable CD players which
Broke in the first five minutes

I am from moving far
And wide
From Pennsylvania to cold Ohio,
To wild Arkansas, then off to corn-filled
Indiana
Form going away parties with
Faces smiling so we
Can keep away the
Bitter tears
From hugs and tears
From sad friends
Either moving
Or seeing me move
Those tears from Cassie and McKyla
To Kyson and Cole

I am from the big house
With the tree who’s boughs
Held three squirming and
Playing kids
From the countless frogs
To the blackberry bushes of who’s fruit
We made jam
From the pool and the big TV
To the gazebo that was filled
With snakes that
Scared me half to death

I am from visits
To Florida where
The waves broke on the
White sand beaches
To Cape May, New Jersey and
The boardwalk filled with shops and
Places to eat
From visits to Hatteras
Where the Wright Brothers first
Flew

I am from the old red mini-van
Who was the first car I remember
We nicknamed it the Red Devil
From the little blue Alfa-Romeo
Which I will one day drive
To the 1948 Chevy, the day
We bought it still fresh in my mind
Even though it has been
Eight years
Through the big blue SUV
Which was bought when
The silver mini-van started
to break down

All these memories inscribed
Into the tiniest things
The smallest whisper of
A music box filled with
Memories
I am not from the best
Nor the worst
But that is where I’m from

This is in memorial of 9/11, the day the planes crashed into the Twin Towers, and destorying more than just two buildings, but hundreds if not thousands of families, this will be really serious people, and possibly very sad. In Memorial, September 11th 2001

In Memorial

The planes hijacked
crash into
this building

People scream
and run

Some fixed in their
apartments filming this
horrible moment

The moment of
9/11, the ruining of
our sense of
security

A man holding
a flag stands tall
until the moment
where he will die

Falling out of
the building

Falling straight
into the face
of death

9/11 one of
the most horrific
moments in American
history

Not only shattering
a building

But the sense of
security we
Americans held
dear

The families torn
apart, fathers, mothers,
sisters, brothers, aunts
uncles, and grandparents
dead

Sending many
Americans to hate
Middle Easterners

People who we
should accept as
brothers and sisters

Many hate,
they blame them
for the death
of their loved
ones

Their family

The firefighters
covered in dust

The dust having
the stench of death
on it

The stench of
horror

Brave the dust

To save the lives

America is
the home of the
free, because
of the brave

The brave like
the firefighters who
risked their lives to
save others'

The brave like
the policemen who
tried to save as many
as possible

The brave like
the civilians who
tried to help
and died in
the process

9/11 our
largest tragedy

That opened our
eyes

Yet shut them

That tore so
many apart

In memorial
September, 11th 2001

Smalls -> RE: No Small Poetry Here (10/3/2009 11:39:15)

Gah it's been awhile hasn't it >.>
Like Blue Ice

His eyes turn
into chips of
blue ice when
he's angry

Cold as ice

Unforgiving as
ice

Deadly as
ice

Eyes so cold
one time

But as warm
as a blue star

The warmth of
his eyes when
he sees someone
he loves can
melt the
ice that gathers
when he's mad

Melt the ice

Freeze the flames

A constant battle
for the control

His eyes say
so much

Yet so little

The fire and ice

Some of the warmest
of the warm

Some of the coldest
of the cold

His fire melts my
ice

My fire melts his

The fire burns
through his eyes

Burns mine

Creating two
sets of stars

Yet when
his eyes are
ice

Mine are too

Creating two
sets of frozen
lakes

Gray-blue

and ice-blue

Love and hope
is the fire

Anger and despair
is the ice

His fire can
warm the coldest
hearts

His ice chill
the warmest

Smalls -> RE: No Small Poetry Here (10/15/2009 20:56:12)

This is based totally after how I'm feeling today

When a life isn't worth living

What is
a life when
it's not
worth living?

When all
your flaws are
brought into
light

Your greatness
forced to
be hidden

What is
it when your
life isn't worth
living

You want to
die

Go away

Escape the
pain

My life
isn't worth
living

My flaws
in the spotlight

My true potential
whithering away in
the shade

Tears escape
like a leak in
a dam

Not stopping
until my eyes
are as dry
as the Mojave

When does a
life cease
to be worth
anything?

That is
the question

Smalls -> RE: No Small Poetry Here (11/26/2009 10:48:01)

Thanksgiving
All these things
I'm thankful for

All these things
I've seen

Why must
one be thankful
for just one thing?

It's impossible
for me

The Killers
high on my
list

Helping me
get through
the hardest
times I've
ever been through

Also giving me
a reason to
live

Victims (Killers
fans) are another
some of
the nicest people
I've met on
the internet

From Trev,
to TKfan, to
Bran, and
more

Some of my
best friends
I've met on
the internet

Some of the nicest
too

There's also
being an
Indianian
something
I never thought
I'd be thankful
for in my
entire life

I've learned
to thank this
change

As this change
has changed my
life

The poems
I write aren't
just a form of
writing

They have become
a way of life

The fresh breath
of air after
a thought where
I want to just
lay down and
die

To live no
more

To just give
up

My real life
friends

The yin
to my yang

The hyper, crazy,
loud, annoying,
hilarious people
they are

Making me
smile when
my highs are
low

When I feel
like I can't smile
again

For pressing the
send button
on the text where
I asked someone
out

Because I was too
nervous to
do it face to face

or because I wouldn't
see him that day

Finally, to my
friends on the
AEF

Again some of
the nicest people
I've met on the
internet

Giving me something
to be thankful for too

And putting up with
my fangirling of
The Killers

There's so much
more to be
thankful for

My family is one

But I can't name
them all, or a poem
this would be no more

To all these things
I've named and haven't

I'm thankful, for each
and every one

o_O first poem in like...forever xD
The Victims

Nate_The_Great
a flirty idiotic
hilarious soulful
friendly Victim

Filled with dumbness
and randomness
and puttingupwithmyidle-ness

The man who who plays
the bass

The man with the huge ego

Blueberry_Kiss

A funny smart
Conan-loving
Blue-person

Filled with love
and compassion
and Conan O'Brien

TKfan27

The most random
Victim in the world

Probably the biggest Conan
fan too

She's been through crap
times, pulling through
with only hope

MegaMuffin4568

the pharmacist in
the chat

a huge Nate fangirl

A great friend

Filled with joy
and joyness

And Twilight too

LauraStamp

The new girl

kinda like what I was
in August of last year

Trevdaman

The awesomest little
Irishman in the whole
world

Filled with funniness
and wit

and one to always
be kind to me

All the chatlings
who are older than me

Well besides Daizy

Me the Baby Ninja

The Smalls

The child of the chat

The "Infamously idle person"

The artist

The Victims

The most wonderful place
in the world

A Please help us out

My eyes see sorrow
never ending

My ears hear voices
always singing

A thousand voices
singing loud

Singing loud

Please help us out

We scream and shout

Please help us out
please help us out

Please no more sorrow

by the morrow

Just help us out

Please help us out

The chains holding
us together have
fallen apart

The land is breaking
tearing apart

Yet our voices
ring out

we sing

Please help us out

We scream and shout

Please help us out
please help us out

Please no more sorrow

By the morrow

Just help us out

Please help us out

The end is coming

The world will end

My eyes see the pain

And suffering

The world is dying

It's oceans red

Yet we stand strong

Our voices cry out

Please help us out

Just help us out

Oh help us out

Just one more time

Please help us out

We scream and shout

Please help us out
please help us out

Please no more sorrow

By the morrow

The world is gray

The love is dying

The hope has lost

The fear has triumphed

For it's unjust cause

Just please we ask you

Even though we may not believe

Just help us out

Please help us out
