Rethal -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:17:07)

so it's the haven of hell? i guess that makes sense... she would have to be Hades, though, to rule Hell, and Hell would have to be a place that is (by loose definition of Haven) "protected" from outsiders... unless she ruled over Hades AND Haven and CREATED Hell. gah...[&:]

Kuld -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:18:41)

Oh fech, I was so busy messing around with this that I just lost 45 minutes I was going to spend on homework, 23:17 here now. xD

Umm...Apparently someone with the first name Haden wrote this Star Wars book...Probably no relation though.

TreadLight -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:20:36)

Kuld, like I said before:

quote:

By the way, this seems to be a Star Wars parody.

Dark Madder is probably not the real name for this person.
Just like how Darth Vader, Darth Maul, etc. came to be. Their names were replaced and given more fitting names.
The dead Darth/Dark passed on the torch.

This convinces me even more that the story of Dark Madder is another Star Wars parody.

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:21:04)

Back!

Knowing AE, it probably is related.

Kuld -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:22:58)

Well, it may be that Haden is not a location at all, for all we know...*shrugs*

Madder may just rule over Haden, not over Haden if you get what I mean. :P

Hagen -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:31:50)

This message may also be read that Haden is a... person!

Yup. Haden. Not Hagen...

Edit: and Iron Grasp may be another person. [sm=icon_eek.gif]

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:33:25)

Or it may not be either. Haden may be an object, like a weapon, or a ship.

EDIT: Iron Grip could be a spell. Like the Cold that the Network used.

Coldkick -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 17:42:35)

Oh noes another idea Dark Madder isn't a person but a spaceship! o.O Ships are classified as she's :P

Gundisalvus -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:04:56)

I wonder if Haden has any good jazz musicians? Or perhaps the people there grow tasty mangos? Sorry, I couldn't resist off-the-wall puns.

swenson -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:07:37)

Iron Grip seems to be significant... why else would it be capitalized?

Darth Torin -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:12:28)

Dark Madder is prob the Vader looking guy in the teaser, and... i havnt seen all the conversation here, but could haden be... THE FORCE

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:13:01)

Like I said, it could be a spell, or maybe a weapon of some sort.

Jakau Ryuu -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:18:30)

Think about it... Iron Grip... what was Darth Vader's signature force ability?
Iron Grip may be a spell that's a reference/parody of the Force Choke, as Dark Madder is almost certainly a reference to (and parody of) Darth Vader.

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:20:33)

If Madder is supposed to be a parody of Darth Vader, then it's a female version.

Rethal -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:20:47)

...whose name is also based off of dark matter. so this Dark Matter is possibly even the Devourer, made of nothing (or really, dark matter) with abilities akin to a lorean god(ess), like force choke (iron grip)...

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:26:30)

No, I'm sure that Darth Vader is actually supposed to mean "Dark Father." And it makes sense.

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:27:41)

If the Devourer were made of Dark Matter, I'd say that all Gods would be as well.

poomaster -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:29:39)

another five pages of HOW COULD I MISS SO MUCH ACTION!!!!

feeling really left out here

what time approximately does falerin normally post his new quiz querie quest of word thingy i keep missing it and i dont like missing out on rare items or interesting info!

TreadLight -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:38:15)

Another way to support the Dark Madder = Darth Vador parody theory is that Vador is only one letter off from Vapor, and Madder is just two letters off from Matter.

Vapor's definition is "diffused matter".

Coldkick -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:41:21)

Today it was at 6/2/2009 15:12:12
not sure about a normal time though :P

Rethal -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:42:50)

...except its Darth Vader, with an "e". Which is TWO letters off from vapor, which supports it even more!

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:50:33)

Except that "vader" is the Dutch word for "father," which is NO words away from "Vader." (It is pronounced differently, but that hardly matters. I'm sure George Lucas just took the Dutch word "vader" and pronounced it differently)

EDIT: Besides, Dark Vapor doesn't have anything to do with Darth Vader. How does it pertain to him? Dark Father does.

TreadLight -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 18:59:56)

Cod, it is the name's spelling that really counts. No one ever said that Dark Madder has to relate directly to what Darth Vader is in Star Wars, just that the name is a parody.

general greivous -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 19:01:54)

People, speculations don't go here and you know it, don't make Papa Smurfalerin angry, you know better!

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/2/2009 19:03:14)

I know. That's not what I was talking about. I was just trying to say that the meaning of Darth Vader's name was Dark Father. 'Cause I knew it was so. [:D]
